Hi Chicago friend!

We are in Chicago too on the north side : )

I only included tax transcripts, but seems like 1044 might be fine too!

We've always used the transcripts (for K-1, AOS and ROC). It gets recommended here because it's less paper, it's official (directly from the IRS), and minimizes the risk of RFEs since tax returns must have ALL schedules included to be accepted by USCIS (W-2s, 1099s, etc.).

I know you can call - but I am not completely sure the best process for that and I don't want to give you wrong advice.  I would post a thread about it in the main removing conditions discussion and let someone more of an expert than me guide you on how to inquire.

An update, we have received our whole package back 4 weeks later with NOA, credit card denied and told to resubmit and to include the NOA form to our next application. There is a contact email included in case we have questions. We will definitely sign up for the text update this time!

For anyone curious, every page of our application has been stamped with a serial number of sorts, with a blank page between each different segment of evidence. (We used paperclips.) Our original envelope was also stapled to the back of the entire application.

Cover page is missing, will need to reprint and note why our submission is now late.

We aren't sure whether to send clean copies of everything or if our original but stamped pages can simply be resubmitted as is.

I think clean copies but my husband does not want to waste so much paper.  We'll browse older posts and see how others did. :)

Very sorry to hear that. Was it just the credit card that was the problem?

Yes, my expiry date was mid December. We filed late in our window but it definitely arrived within the 90 days. We're outside the 90 days now but we can only re-submit, so here we go!

The NOA stated the only problem was the credit card.

My husband who filled out the form says he doesn't recall adding the CC's CVV to the form and after checking, Form G-1450 doesn't have a space to enter the CVV.

We suspect that's the case because I applied for a passport renewal with my embassy which used the same form and the embassy called me to get the CVV saying otherwise that application would be rejected and returned.

Going ahead with cheque for the next one!!
