I don't mind a low scoring game in any sport as long as it's because the defenses are playing well. What I DO mind is investing that much time in a sporting event that ends in a tie.

I won’t be surprised if the event is moved to Europe. That is what should happen.  Cowards at fifa and Budweiser will likely fold.  And after this, expect Canada in 2026 to also ban beer sales.
