  1. Consider yourself lucky. Due to the covid nonsense and the travel restrictions involved my fiancé (now wife) and I didn't see each other in person for 3 years. Problems are never as big as they seem, it will all work out in the end.
  2. Yeah my wife did not have a flu shot in the Philippines and got to the US just fine last summer without it. She got an RFE for her AOS a couple of months ago and it was for her to have a flu shot. Once she got the flu shot her AOS was approved and she received her green card a month or so later.
  3. I would suggest the best thing you can do for now is to gather ANY medical/vaccination records as you can if that information is available to you. I know some areas of the Philippines that medical recordkeeping is not the best, but maybe you will get lucky. The remote area my wife grew up in had no records available. My wife had to get a couple of vaccinations on her medical at St. Lukes that she had no evidence of, however she had the vaccine scar on her arm from childhood vaccinations and they let her slide on those. She had paperwork for her 2 doses of the covid vaccine (Sinovac) so that was a non-issue. By the way, don't just collect any medical records available, try to gather school/employment records or anything else you can think of while still in the Philippines. You never know what you might need once you are in the US.
  4. My wife had the Sinovac and she had no problems getting approved.
  5. My question is outside of the arrest warrant, would you still be seeking a divorce and for what reason? Is your goal to have them sent back home or just have them exit your life whether they remain in the US or not? Sometimes people are looking for that magic bullet that they think can absolve them of their obligations. Feels like the relationship isn't what you had hoped it would be and you are hoping to wash your hands of the whole matter and would like to be released from the responsibilities you signed up for.
  6. As time goes by, your "estimate" is going to shift. The initial estimate we had (during the height of the covid garbage) was 8.5 months. Over time that date kept moving and eventually it was 15+ months from NOA1 to NOA2. Focus on other things like preparing for things you might need once your K1 has been approved. Use this time to have your fiancé collect documents/records they might need once in the US.
  7. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Marrianne Williamson are both running. RFK Jr actually has some decent polling in the last few weeks in the 21% range, which is pretty good against a sitting president in his own party. About a third of states have open primaries, meaning anyone can vote in the Democratic or Republican party regardless of their registration. If old Joe keeps screwing things up and some republican voters cross over and vote for RFK Jr over old Joe in the primary it could get interesting.
  8. Yes, I work in retail and I still see them, maybe 5% or less are still clinging to the mask hysteria. I was one of the small percentage who never wore a mask (outside of my cardiologist's office). My breathing ability is already restricted and I'll be damned if I am going to intentionally restrict it further with a useless rag. I got a lot of nasty looks, the occasional finger wagging and verbal abuse aimed towards me by those people, but I am immune to their attempts to shame me. It's not my responsibility to wear something on my face because of their gullibility to the fear mongering. I have noticed the most vocal against non-maskers that come to my work are pretty silent these days. They only shop early in the morning or just before closing time. They don't talk to anyone, don't even get near anyone, they give off that vibe of an abused animal that shies away from humans, it's sad really. My favorites/saddest are: 1. The lone person driving in their car with a mask on. 2. The lone masked person walking or jogging with nobody within half a block of them. 3. The family shopping with the mother and 2 kids masked, but the father is not. 4. The masked people who are shopping who veer sharply away from anyone approaching. 5. The employees that wear the mask half the week, but not the other half.
  9. Other than Cavuto, everyone in this video fits into a certain political ideology (And no, Joe Scarborough and Arnold are not conservatives despite what they try to claim). Makes you wonder just how far some of these people would have gone and to what level of persecuting their fellow Americans would they have been okay with if they had their way. Was it fear of the coronavirus that made them think this way, or was it an opportunity to destroy their political opposition? Let's face it, you can get an extremely accurate assessment of someone's politics based on their mask wearing and coronavirus injection advocacy. The mask and the coronavirus injection card became sort of a gang tattoo, a physical representation of who was on your team and those without that branding must be mocked, demonized, shunned and who knows what else. I don't believe most of these people in this video truly believed in what they were saying, I think they were trying to whip their gang into a frenzy of hatred and "othering" their fellow countrymen. It's sad what people were willing to do to their neighbors.
  10. We added a photo of the engagement ring in our pictures when we submitted our application, we weren't told to do so, we just did it and I don't think it made a difference. At no point during the entire process did USCIS or the embassy in Manila ask about wedding plans.
  11. Flights were has dead spots where it says "estimated", where they don't have any tracking info. Usually once they get to the US airspace the tracking info gets more accurate. And I have been on many flights where we lost time taking off too late where the pilot makes up the difference in the air. I'm sure it will about on time or not too far off at least.
  12. Congrats. By the way, flightaware is good to keep track of flights in the air. It's pretty good about telling you what gate also. BR52 (EVA52) EVA Air Flight Tracking and History 12-May-2023 (TPE / RCTP-KIAH) - FlightAware
  13. The entire Biden Administration would never be allowed on VisaJourney, they're violating the TOS constantly. Condone or instruct, either directly or indirectly, others on how to commit fraudulent or illegal immigration activities in any way, shape, manner or method.
  14. Not sure of the wording of your question. On Sunday February 26th our attorney emailed us to tell us he got us an interview for March 9th. Unfortunately we had to have him cancel that interview because my fiance had her first day of her medical at St. Lukes and an appointment to pick up her NBI clearance that same day. He was able to reschedule the interview exactly 1 week later on March 16th.
  15. Our immigration attorney scheduled us 2 separate interviews in Manila a week out. We had to cancel the first one because it was in conflict with another appointment, but he got the 2nd appointment a week later. I don't know exactly how he managed to get appointments so easily, but he was emailing us the appointment times at 7pm (Arizona time) on Sunday, which would be 10am Monday morning in Manila. So I would suggest trying first thing Monday morning in the Philippines, seemed to work for our attorney.
  16. Let them print their own currency, a California ruble if you will that can only be used in California.
  17. What is the end game here? It feels like the final nail in California's coffin. Let's say you fund this by taxing rich white people, then those people decide to take their tax dollars elsewhere. Do you then tax middle class and eventually poor white people? What if they too abandon that sinking ship? So now you have a state where every black person has a million dollars plus in the bank, are they going to work? Who will provide the goods and services to those who think they are financially set? In a place where everyone is a millionaire some smart entrepreneurs are going to come along and adjust the cost of goods and services to match the ability of the customer to pay, prices won't go down, they will go up. That $60 oil change for your car is going to cost $200 because I want my piece of the pie. And don't forget, through state income tax or sales tax, the state of California and cities will be collecting their share of that stolen cash. There are so many holes in this idea, I for one am hoping it happens.
  18. The problem is too many people these days believe their opinions are facts, hence terms like "speaking my/your truth".
  19. I think you'll be fine as long as you (and your fiance' when she interviews) never lie or try to hide information. In the webpage below it says they are mainly looking to protect the beneficiary from abuse/child trafficking/human trafficking. Good luck I have a criminal record. 20. I listen to the Adam Carolla podcast on occasion while I am at work. He is best friends with Jimmy Kimmel (in spite of their political views being polar opposites) and every now and he talks about how Kimmel has about 15 writers on staff. Even with that, for special events he says Kimmel will ask him to look over the jokes and help him decide which are worth using.
  21. Love him or hate him, it seems Beck has done incredibly well since leaving Fox News. Tucker will be just fine What is Glenn Beck’s Net Worth? While in 2014, Forbes estimated that Glen Beck’s net worth was $90 million, Beck’s net worth has risen significantly since then. 2022 numbers from Celebrity Net Worth suggest that his net worth is closer to $150 million. In any case, it is clear that Beck has a significant fortune. How Much Does Glenn Beck Make Each Year? It is estimated that his salary is $20 million each year, but that figure does not include all the money he earns in a year, and other income streams like book revenues add to that yearly income estimate. It’s common for Beck to earn closer to $30-$40 million in any given year. When he still worked for Fox before starting his own media company, he made around $2 million on air from Fox; however, his total for the year was around $32 million, which means that other income streams like public speaking, his online store, radio, and book sales earned the bulk of his income.
