We were documentarily qualified on April 22nd 2022. When I look in my NVC file it says a document is missing but the document is there NVC saw it and then sent a approval email. Should I reattach the doc again? We still don't have a interview date as of yet. Could this be stalling us? Please help!! I need my husband home.😓😓

You Rock! Thank you soooo much-  😘

If current trend continues at USEM in Lagos, you'll not get interview date for another 2 years. USEM in Naija is currently conducting interviews for those who DQ'ed in 2020; huge backlog.

If you were already DQ-ed, no need to add documents at this point.  Your case is already in line for interview.  Unfortunately, that line for Lagos is very long.  You might need to wait another 1.5 years or so for an interview.

You are DQ'd you are fine. That's a glitch they have. IL's just went out DQ dates for 1st week of January 2021 so far. So now you are 15 month wait.

June/29/2022  I have recieved an E-mail from the NVC noticing me that my Case become Documentry Qualified, and they told me that NVC will work with the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in ADDIS ABABA, ETH to schedule an interview appointment for me, so I don't have an appointment yet what's wrong.

I feel you.... still waiting for my interview date too. Missing my husband and kids so much 😞 We've been apart since Dec 2021. Hang in there, I hope you get it sorted soon.

Hi Chancy, do you know if it(1.5 years) starts counting from NVC Approval date or from the priority date shown in NVC page? Anyone with information please answer o. Thanks in Advance!

Interview wait time estimates mentioned above start from NVC DQ (Documentarily Qualified) date, not case Priority Date.  PD does not matter much for IR1/CR1 cases.
