I would start by thanking you for the time you take to help your brothers who yearn for the United States...

I would say that I came to you to help me in my case by providing your good advice

So here is my concern:

I have just been selected for the dv loto with a diploma only the baccalaureate; I had put married at the registration which will already be a year of marriage in August but since then my husband has been living and working in the field of food in Congo Brazzaville for ten years and without diplomas and that I was in our country (Guinea) which means that we had no previous life together like the photos except the messages on messenger and after our marriage was done in the countryside without the presence of my husband so no photos of marriage or marriage certificate

And then after the beginning of February 2022 I came to join him in Congo knowing that I had played at the very beginning in our country of origin which is Guinea and having no supporting document on our union

And again my husband whose passport has already expired for some time and for criminal record history so I just arrived here

And if my case is a little complicated I could provide by withdrawing my husband so as to be divorced or widowed in my form because we know that by remaining without filling in the form in the absence of my husband's passport everything would not be long. ..

Help me please...

thank you for your attention

DO NOT falsify information on US immigration forms.  Do you want a lifetime ban from the US?

ah thank you for the attention and response  so if I understand it well on this bridal lane and choose the option to travel alone since my husband is not too willing not to complicate things any more...?
But at the level of the DS form I can then not register my husband and leave his form empty since he does not have a valid passport and we are from the country and continue the procedure alone by just bringing the certificate of our marriage?

"without the presence of my husband so no photos of marriage or marriage certificate"

Yes, you can choose to travel alone. You will not fill in a Ds260 for your husband, just one for yourself. On your own DS260 when you list your husband, you choose the option that this family member is not immigrating with you.

All we are asking you to do is post in English. We don’t understand French. We can’t help if we don’t understand the posts.

Use a translating site/app to translate to English, and then paste it here. Otherwise, we can't help because we don't understand French. Well most of us.

But if you do this, don’t include a translated version of other people’s posts …that is what the moderator didn’t like as it is the same as altering the quotes of other people, which is not allowed here

  • 2 months later...

hello

My main concern is that i played as a bride in my native country and it was a distance wedding because my husband did not bother to travel from his work country, we just celebrated the religious wedding with the parents and then I came to join him in the Congo. Now once selected, at first I had decided to immigrate alone to avoid a refusal but with your advice I finally decided to continue with him; he has currently returned to the country to make a passport which he has just had with also a marriage certificate which he may also have had in hand.

1) What do you advise me to do to solve this problem of lack of photos of the two of us together during the ceremony?

2) Should I choose our country of current residence (the Congo) or our country of origin as the place of interview?
