Has anyone else applied for the Uniting for Ukraine program?

Hi everyone,

My USCIS account through which I did all my immigration process got locked. I filed a request to unlock it on Sunday and heard nothing yet. My question is, can I just create a new account with a different email to apply for Uniting for Ukraine?

I would rather call them and follow up, than create new account. I don't know, I just have a feeling it may delay the approval process. It is my personal opinion. If you call USCIS you can say "info pass" when automated system asks for your first selection. It will transfer you to the officer right away. Good luck

Thank you for this information. I did call them and got a rep on a phone. He said that it shouldn't matter and will not create any problems.

My fiancé took a bus out of Ukraine and into Poland and I flew over there to get her. We spent a couple weeks in Poland having fun and yesterday we made it home. Customs in Chicago was pretty simple and they took her fingerprints and that’s about it. Now we are figuring out the rest. Next week we have a appointment scheduled to get her health insurance and benefits.

Sharing an update. 
My beneficiaries arrived on Tuesday 6/14 at Houston airport. The lines moved quickly. They got their biometrics taken and were sent in for secondary screening (into a separate room).

Their passports and documents were taken and they waited for about an hour and a half before they were admitted. 
It was not clear what took so long. Questions they were asked were very basic (where you are going, what is your relationship to the sponsor).

Overall, fairly uneventful. Just unexpectedly long wait without explanation. 
Share this with your beneficiaries, so that they don’t get alarmed.

Same experience with JFK. Simple questions and a 2 hour wait.

Not exactly sure what she is trying to do. But my guess is that she is trying to add more than one case to her USCIS account. Each beneficiary will need to set up a separate USCIS account with a separate email address, even children.

My father made the application for her since USCIS is unable to edit my original application because I wrote the passport number incorrectly. 

 

Should she just make a new USCIS account???

Though not 100% sure, I'm very sure the answer is yes.

So my beneficiary still hasn't gotten her email and I have half a mind to resubmit the I-134 again. Is there a downside to doing that?

Just sharing an update --

The beneficiaries I sponsored (family of 4) arrived in the US yesterday (point of entry: SLC) and they couldn't have had a better experience -- their biometrics were taken, but no additional questions or prolonged waiting. They were were prepared for a much more involved experience, but grateful it was short and uncomplicated. There were 2 others arriving at the same time via the U4U program, so very few beneficiaries being processed at the same time. 

Simply FYI.
