  1. Mailed the i130/i485 package yesterday. Hopefully it goes smooth and fast. Thanks for the help along the way other members and forum.)
  2. I’m going to send in everything for the green card in a couple weeks. I was just wondering if for proof of residence showing both our names if the first page is fine or if I should send the whole lease agreement to USCIS?
  3. Yeah pretty similar process I’m going through. Since I’m in college and don’t make a ton of money I had my mom sponsor my now wife from Ukraine. After the U4U was approved I went and met her in Poland and brought her back with me. We got married 3 months after she got here. I haven’t sent the i485 yet because I’m waiting for the i693 medical exam still. Should be in about 4 weeks and then I can submit all the paperwork.
  4. Ok so it sounds like I can file the i130/285/765/131/864 all at the same time. I don’t plan on cutting corners I was just curious how it all worked. We already started filling out some of them. We already got her a ssn and a drivers permit a while ago so it almost seems like she shouldn’t have been able to get those without filing all these forms first somehow haha. Thanks everyone.
  5. So I should file the i130 and i485 now together and when should I do the i765/i131/i864 ? Also are the i765/i131/i864 even required? Like the i131 is the Application for Travel Document, but she’s already here so what’s the point? And the i765 is the Application for Employment Authorization, but if we are fine living with just my wages is it necessary? And the i864 is Afidavit or Support, but wasn’t that already done when we did the Uniting for Ukraine forms? Sorry for the maybe dumb questions, but I just want to be sure if what I’m doing. Thanks!
  6. Also now I see you can file the I-130 online. Should I do that or should I send it physically in the mail with the I-485 at the same time?
  7. When filling out the I-130 and I-485 should I use my wife’s original last name she came here with or with her new last name (mine). The only document we have with her new last name is the marriage certificate. So should I go and update her social security card and ID card first? And her passport form Ukraine will have her original last name too of course. I’m really overthinking this now and got myself confused. Basically I’m wondering what else all needs to be updated with her new last name before I file these forms with uscis and which last name to use for her on the forms. Thanks!
  8. My fiancé came here to the USA through the Uniting for Ukraine program. Now that we are married can we file i-485 to adjust her status to permanent resident(green card)? Or do we need to file some more things too? I’m a U.S. citizen too by the way. Thanks
  9. My fiancé took a bus out of Ukraine and into Poland and I flew over there to get her. We spent a couple weeks in Poland having fun and yesterday we made it home. Customs in Chicago was pretty simple and they took her fingerprints and that’s about it. Now we are figuring out the rest. Next week we have a appointment scheduled to get her health insurance and benefits.
  10. Ok it looks like it should be fine since all the flights are under one ticket and the baggage won’t need to be re checked and stuff. Thanks
  11. Will it be ok to fly from Poland to London to US with just the travel authorization? I’m not sure if it’s a big deal to transition through London
  12. Before my beneficiary leaves Ukraine should they get doctor records printed or anything like that required?
  13. Ok this may be a dumb question, but after buying plane tickets it says: All passengers require a valid visa or ESTA to enter the USA. Is the Travel Authorized document from Homeland Security all that will be needed though?
