Rare case of USCIS scheduling interview for petitioner

I've been answering questions. I guess the trigger word is 'fraud' and how everyone believes when it comes from Nigeria, it has to be fraud. My wife will answer all questions from immigration in all honesty on the scheduled date. We have nothing to hide. Because it's rare was why I wanted more insight thinking people would help. I totally agree with you..This is why I really don't comment much here, but browse to seek the answers that I am looking for. We know Nigeria is not the only fraudulent country because there are plenty, but I would have to agree that fraud definitely runs rampant there. Don't let that be an issue for you...Just get the answers you need and focus on the journey at hand..Many blessings to you and your wife..

People would help if you would give the background information that they ask for. We are not asking all this information just to be nosy, but these things matter.

 

How old are you? How old is she? How much money has she sent you? How much time have you spent together? How did you meet? What EXACTLY was requested in the RFE? What EXACTLY did you send as a response?

 

People here can't help you if you are not willing to provide this information and just get defensive when asked these questions.

Dear Marieke H, if you go back to the beginning, you will spot where I said she's 10 years+ older. She's helped with my rent and money for support anytime she has something to spare. We met online. I also mentioned that they requested for additional evidences which I ended up sending pictures, chat logs, call logs, notary letters from parent (cos father is deceased) sibling, and also my best friend, flight details, hotel reservations. The asked for more evidence which only I can provide if I have been living in the United States physically with my wife but could not provide more because we haven't been living physically in the united States. What does "10 years+" mean? How old are you? How old is she?

How much money has she sent; what was the approximate amount?

What was the exact wording of the RFE?

 

If you are going to be this vague and evasive in your immigration interviews, you will have major problems.

I'll never be vague with my immigration officer because I'm going to provide evidences printed in papers as regarding finances that you've been so keen about . So far, the information I provided is enough for you to make a suggestion

Surely you understand by now that you're not getting meaningful answers here because you are being vague here, on VJ.  Your wife has an attorney.  She should be discussing this with the attorney.

Right. But you’re still very vague with the age for some reason. I think you know why. It’s not the same to have a 31 year old Nigerian, professional, with a stable job, dating a 42 year old USC versus a 21 year old dating a 53 year old.

Oh really? Can we see the letter please? I doubt the CO is so stupid to request evidence that you can only provide if you live in the US, when they know better than anyone else that you’re applying for a CR1 visa, which means that you don’t live in the US. That doesn’t make any sense at all!

Again, what’s the age difference and what EXACTLY did they request when they RFEd you?

If she's the one being interviewed maybe they're focused on HER immigration history, not yours. Probably she petitioned someone before.

OP's timeline shows the petition is still at USCIS.   And OP said "So on Nov 10, USCIS scheduled my spouse (petitioner) for interview."
