Hi fellow November 2021 filers!

Any approvals here? There have been only cricket sounds from SRC since this January when they sent the biometrics letter. We’re planning to file the N400 at the end of October but I read on the March thread that someone got the N400 interview but it was not a combo interview so the officer couldn’t approve the naturalization which is so weird. It seems they got the oath ceremony appointment but still no words about the ROC so it’s a bit confusing. This past year didn’t bother me too much because I knew that the ROC won’t be approved before naturalization but the sooner we get close to the filing date for the N400 I’m getting more anxious.

@Gigi2017 Just checked July and September 2021 forums. Not any movement in September. There was some chatter in the July forum of some approvals.

Several weeks ago I did a deep combing of the ROC forums, and calculated that I (a November 2021 filer) shouldn't reasonably expect to hear anything until December 2022, based on activity of prior months.

Hi Thomas!

Thanks for the reply. I do check the previous forums as well every once in a while but we need to keep in mind that only very few percent of people are active in these forums. For example, I have a co-worker and he filed his ROC just about a month ahead of me and he got approved back in May but he's not active on any forums.  Also, sometimes people who are reading these forums don't post anything at all just stay being readers. We can't calculate any timelines according to visajourney posts. Anyway, I wish a fast and smooth process to every filers! 🙂

Keep in mind that those who don't get approved fast are probably more likely to post more than those who get approved fast. If I get approved in 6-8 months I would just move on with life instead of posting comments in an immigration forum.

I think it also depends on the service center.

In the spreadsheet. whose link I copy below no one whose file is in the Potomac service center has been approved:

For some reason WAC is the only service center that seems to be getting out some fairly quick approvals. SRC seems to be stuck at April/May 2021.

WAC filers, do you expect your cases to be approved by end of this year?

An approval was reported in the October thread.  There will be more trickling in over the next few weeks and months in that thread.  So yes I would expect at least some WAC cases to be approved for this thread by the end of the year.
