  1. It might depend on the time your interview is scheduled, mine was at 7.15 am and I was called in at 7.40. The lovely IO told me that there was gonna be a ceremony at 11 and hopefully she was gonna sign me in for it 'cause I live 6 hours North of SF and she didn't want to bother me coming back to the City! I'll love her forever!
  2. Makes sense to post it here too since the whole story started on November 26th 2021, almost exactly 2 years ago! I got approved on the spot today and had the oath ceremony two hours later! A big achievement for me and I want to share my happiness here even if I don't know you personally but I'm sure we all feel the same way once we're out of the tunnel! Thanks for your time and help during this journey!
  3. Hi everyone! I just got approved after a very easy interview, the officer looked like my auntie and she hugged me when the interview was over. Same day Oath in 2 hours!
  4. I agree with Elena&Craig. I got an RFE in March and 19 days after I sent the response I got approved. Those bureaucrats loose documents all the time, basically I sent 'em the same stuff I already did and I got approved right away! No worries, keep following the light at the end of the tunnel!
  5. I wasn't sure either if filing online or by mail, then I started the application online and found it very easy, consider that in case of an RFE you'll get the notice in your e-mail right away instead of waiting for the mail to come. It takes about 2 hours and I did it from my phone. You don't even need a laptop!!! Highly recommended!
  6. Hi to everyone! Glad to join you, I filed 05/06 and got "case actively reviewed" the same day and "fingerprints taken" few days later. Filed on-line, SF field office! You all have a wonderful day!
  7. Yes, San Francisco too! Honestly at this point I don't care how long it will take, I hope they concentrate on approving all the I-751. I can wait now!
  8. Thanks, I filed it yesterday and couldn't imagine it was gonna be so easy. Already got a case number and "case is being actively reviewed". Thanks again
  9. My wife (USC) wants to apply for the Italian citizenship and she needs background checks from all the states she lived in (Texas, Washington, Oregon and California). Does anybody know where she can get'em? Thanks
  10. Received my green card yesterday! Chapter closed, now... is there a difference between filing n-400 online or via mail? Is one faster than the other?
  11. OMG, I'm so sorry! It doesn't make sense...maybe at this point try to apply for naturalization
  12. I know it won't help 'cause it didn't help me, but just don't think about it! Hang tight and hold on! I feel you!
  13. I feel bad for all the people not assigned to WAC, I really do!
  14. Update on my case..."new card is being produced"!!! Finally approved after 17+ months, 19 days after USCIS received the response to the RFE. Definitely partying tonight!!!
  15. I received the 48 months extension letter last Saturday, one week after receiving the RFE. It might just be something they do automatically.
  16. For sure I made a mistake not sending the whole statements, I will. I also noticed in their letter they don't mention the deed of the house and the mortgage which I sent...so I guess they lost it somewhere... I'm working on it and keep you posted. Thanks
  17. Thanks guys, I got it! It's all about money, love doesn't matter.
  18. Are you talking about the bank statements? I submitted a piece of paper that testifies we have a joint bank account that we use to pay the mortgage and shared expenses. No monthly statement, that's our business how and when we spend our money and I'm not gonna share it with them. I sent 2020 taxes because we still haven't filed 2021 by then, so we're filing 2022 now and I'm gonna wait for it to send them.
  19. Update about my case: Just got the RFE letter and it says INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE OF BONA FIDE MARRIAGE. These guys are ridiculous! They don't ask for anything in particular, just want more proofs since they took 15 months to process it. Of course buying a house together is not enough!
