Information I have gathered from forums and fb groups.

Thank you for doing this @herecomestherain!  Do you think this could take over the old spreadsheet of @Danii's?  It isn't fair to expect her to keep updating it, now that she is well on the other side of this nightmare!

Perhaps we could even have a column for WOM (date filed, date consulate responds, etc?).  Thoughts?

I was hesitant to share the sheet because I don't want to be too responsible to keep it updated.

I have removed usernames in order to keep everyone's privacy.

Contact me to be added to the sheet with your interview date, additional evidence if requested, and other pertinent details.

I have added info on mandamus - once someone applies for WoM, I can add a WoM filing date column so we can keep sane.

I don't mind keeping my spreadsheet but another one is always helpful esp if it includes WOM.

I am having a hard time keeping up with new entries though. I haven't made the sheet public as some groups in the past have had issues with random people messing it up. Is anyone interested in helping me keeping it updated? DM me your email or request access with a little note and I'll make you an editor!

Is this status normal? I thought the status would change to "Administrative Processing" instead of "Issued".

issued AP is a normal status progression... check the IR1/CR1 FAQ document for more info :)

My family's DV case was updated from "ready" to "Issued" today!

The thing is that the status says that the case is still under AP. This is what the CEAC website shows:

Issued

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. As the officer told you in the interview, if further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved when administrative processing is finished, you will receive notification to collect the passport with the visa from the Loomis branch you selected when you booked your appointment.

I don't want to get my hopes up but hopefully this is a good sign that the case is close to receive final approval. We haven't received any emails from the consulate yet.

Is this status normal? I thought the status would change to "Administrative Processing" instead of "Issued".

When was your interview?

March 17. Status remained "Ready" even after the interview, it changed today to "Issued AP"

Thank you, it doesn't seem as we are out of the woods yet though. The status description says that the case is still under AP after all and that it may take several weeks. We have no indication when/if we will receive the passports back. Reading the "IR1/CR1 FAQ" document, seems like we have to change status again to "ISSUED (with a note saying “Your visa is in final processing"). I just hope we get the visas soon.

That’s normal. It’ll turn to issued tomorrow or Friday and you’ll get the tracking stuff.

I know it’s hard to believe and feel relieved but you’re at the finish line!

This is great news then! As you say, it's very hard to feel relieved after everything we've been through.

I guess now we will anxiously wait for our status to move to "Issued - Final processing" in a few days and get the tracking#.

I think then we will be able to finally celebrate.

Are you a K1 case? Please fill in your timeline.

We have seen the status change this way for K1 cases before they are approved.
