I know everyone is in the same boat of missing their fiancé. My fiancé is currently in Ukraine and I miss her terribly. I wish she could visit me :(.

I had my NOA1 on May 3rd, is it realistic to assume that the I would receive a NOA2 within 2-3 more months?

Look at your time line. It’s a fair estimate.

I got a little bummed out when I read the estimated time on my timeline profile.

"Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between December 25, 2021 and December 28, 2021*."

I really appreciate the encouraging response!

2-3 months from now?  Very unlikely.  Current processing times at the CSC are 5.5-7.5 months.

Do you think things are speeding up compared to previous months? Are there any trends of faster processing times?

Thanks!

Not from what I've noticed.  USCIS has been pretty consistent.  It's the consular part of the process that varies so widely.

Yup. We are all in the same situation. I'm almost at 7 months and still waiting. I would say patience is key. USCIS is all over the place. They are currently processing November/December filers. However, realistically my fiancé will be here December the earliest. And that's if I get my NOA-2 by September and the embassy is running smoothly. Keep your head up!

Our NOA1 is 2 days after yours (May 5th) and our timeline currently predicts us receiving NOA2 at the end of December/start of January, so unless you get lucky with an earlier processing it'll likely be a good amount longer than 2-3 months unfortunately. Our current working assumption with the embassy backlog here is that i'll be able to move to the USA sometime early next summer, but that may be different depending upon which embassy you're using and indeed our assumption may be way off base/covid may change the situation further.

It sucks, but just got to keep as positive as you can, if the absurd travel ban ever gets lifted that will certainly help things feel easier I think!
