I never want to hear impeach from either side again. It has become nothing more than a political weapon. The pubs started it with Clinton, and the dems took it to new lows with Trump

 

It should be reserved for very serious offenses

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I'm always open to reasonable discussion. You're going to get a left of center take from me on most issues, but I'll back whatever I see factually when that makes sense. (sometimes it doesn't, if we're talking about opinion) And as I've done already, I'll readily admit when I get something wrong.

 

btw, you see a left-wing echo chamber, and I see a very decidedly right-wing echo chamber. So I dunno, maybe there really is some kind of balance going on.
