Okay, Thanks . Background check can take how many months  ? Background checks if I have criminal records  ? I don't have anything both US and my country.

Nobody know how long it takes and what they check specifically  . In some cases they get it done fast in a matter of weeks . But other times it may take a long time

Hi everyone! Have you been traveling easily with the AP? Been asked for any proof of emergency to travel? Know about someone who would have been denied the entry? :s

Know quite a few people who got their entry denied - but none of them were VAWA applicants. All of those - O` Hare airport in Chicago. Some really horrible stories. Never heard VAWA applicant denied an entry but we need other people opinion too

my attorney has informed his attorney to avoid such misconduct on my personal things because it is completely against of law

It's good that you have an attorney on your side.  Repeatedly urge him/her to place a few calls to a certain local police department (computer crimes, violation of orders, etc.).

Don't get mad -- get even.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Hi Zizi , I wrote a letter explaining I will experience financial hardship . Also explained I was on my extension and it will expire in 16 days as well as my DL. I stated my employer has informed me I will have to stop working if I do not get the card on or before 10/17.  I did the expedite request online and that night it was assigned to an officer immediately but there was no progress. A member of this forum advised me how he did his and I faxed all my receipt notice , vawa approval notice , communications from my employer , my dL license , my bills , car note , my pay check to Vermont.I actually sent it by DHL next day delivery . This is after I had asked Senator , congressman and ombudsman help more than 7 times @a1d1 helped me on this . Thank you @a1d1

Thank for this update. I have an issue at hand. Uscis sent rfe to me 21st of September and I didn't receive it. October 6th I raised rfe notice not received online and case was assigned to an officer on the same day. Today, I sent mail to Vermont requesting for a copy of that rfe. Though our case are not the same but think I follow same trend with you and I pray to hear from them soon because of rfe timeline.

Find a buddy who's a computer expert, or ask around.

If your USCIS account is being invaded, that might be a Federal offense -- ask your attorney.

Even if you make no "progress," you'll feel better simply for having done these things on your own behalf. :)

They will stoop so low, I mean the abusers.

I had the same issue as you. I changed my iCloud password and got another phone separate from his family account and used that for vawa fillings etc. They will still stalk you, check you on google or social media etc. They just want to see you suffer. The best revenge is success. Work on yourself, enroll in school if you would like a better career like doctor, engineer etc, work on your health, go to gym, stop eating junk, do meditation, build muscle, dress to impress 😃Be the best you! All you have is you, he (abuser) is only a termite and termites don’t last long.
