Yes, a Judge ruled to restart FRP, but I can wait. I am not really in a hurry to do AOS as I'm doing okay here so far. It's going to be a year in August, but it seems longer to me. I started with some stock investments during the Biden administration that performed well while I was looking for a job. After that, I got a job just a few blocks away from my parents so I can cook for them before I go to work.

I was a general manager until two weeks ago when I wanted to leave due to my MBA in Finance and I am preparing for my second CFA exam, both of which are keeping me busy. I wrote my resignation letter two weeks ago, but the owner didn't want me to leave. We came to an agreement to reduce my hours and move me from a management role to a technical position in the company. He mentioned that since I was hired, the company has grown to an exponential level in profit, and they don't think it's a good idea to let me go.

By the way my date is March 25 2017

It's not about being in a hurry or not, it's about being eligible. If the program is cancelled then there will be no way to stay and do AOS.

July Bulletin is out with more movement. F2B final action date is Oct. 15 2016 (so slightly less than a month forward). No change to filing action date.

The good thing is it's moving constantly rather than 1 month move and then nothing for 3-6 months. 

I don't mind if it keeps on moving every month.

F2B 'final action date' is pivotal - as long as that is moving close to your receipt date I'm OK with that - let's keep that moving bit by bit - my receipt date is Sept 11 2017 - It looks like at this rate it would be 11 months before it is "current".

My priority date is 09/30/2016 F2B rest of the world, according to the Visa Bulletin,next month my case will become current, what will happen?

You'll become eligible for a visa. I assumed you'e been DQ'ed, so you'll be added to the line for an interview, how long it will take will depend on the consulate you're applying at.

Sorry for a long response - Hope this helps

If the person is already lawfully in the U.S., they can file Form I-485 (Adjustment of Status) to become a permanent resident:

They can usually file I-485, I-765 (work permit), and I-131 (advance parole) all together.

Once I-485 is approved, they get the green card.

Work and travel permits typically arrive within 3–6 months; green card in about 6–12 months.

If the person is outside the U.S., they’ll go through Consular Processing:

NVC (National Visa Center) contacts them for further processing.

They’ll pay fees, submit the DS-260 immigrant visa application, provide civil documents, and attend a medical exam.

Eventually, they attend an interview at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate.

If approved, they’ll receive an immigrant visa to enter the U.S. as a permanent resident.

Pretty unusual for a F2B case to be able to adjust, it takes so long.
