  1. @appleblossom Thank you appleblossom! I will be patient and keep checking CEAC for updates. Appreciate you help!
  2. Hi everyone, I wanted to share my situation and see if anyone else is experiencing the same issue after the April 2026 Visa Bulletin was released. Here is my case info: - Category: F2B (F24) - Priority Date: March 18, 2017 As of the April 2026 Visa Bulletin, the F2B Final Action Date for All Other countries moved to May 22, 2017, and the Dates for Filing moved to August 8, 2017. My priority date of March 18, 2017 is earlier than both cutoffs, meaning I should now be current. However, when I log into CEAC, the IV Fee payment button is still grayed out and the IV Application shows "START NOW" but is not clickable. The page still shows the message that the petition is not eligible for further processing at this time due to numerical limitations. I have not yet received any new email from NVC telling me to proceed with payment. Did you guys get it or it will update? My questions: 1. Is anyone else in the F2B category with a similar priority date experiencing the same issue after the April 2026 bulletin? 2. How long did it take for your CEAC payment button to become active after your priority date became current? 3. Should I contact NVC now via their public inquiry form, or is it better to wait a few more days? Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. I have been waiting for this moment for a long time and want to make sure I don't miss anything! Thank you in advance.
  3. Yes, a Judge ruled to restart FRP, but I can wait. I am not really in a hurry to do AOS as I'm doing okay here so far. It's going to be a year in August, but it seems longer to me. I started with some stock investments during the Biden administration that performed well while I was looking for a job. After that, I got a job just a few blocks away from my parents so I can cook for them before I go to work. I was a general manager until two weeks ago when I wanted to leave due to my MBA in Finance and I am preparing for my second CFA exam, both of which are keeping me busy. I wrote my resignation letter two weeks ago, but the owner didn't want me to leave. We came to an agreement to reduce my hours and move me from a management role to a technical position in the company. He mentioned that since I was hired, the company has grown to an exponential level in profit, and they don't think it's a good idea to let me go. By the way my date is March 25 2017
  4. I am in the US with a FRP to be honest if you are in the US with a FRP if that your case it is good to switch to F1 and start an ajusment of status while you waiting for your GC but in my case I have to wait my petitioner is preparing the documents and it might take longer to be a f1 but I dont might I am working here and staying with my family while I am waiting for table B to move and start my ajusment of status.
  5. Hi, I wanted to ask: I’m currently on a Family Reunification Parole under the F2B category (unmarried adult children of green card holders) with a Priority Date (PD) of February 23, 2017. If my petitioner (my parent) becomes a U.S. citizen, would it be advisable to switch to the F1 category (unmarried adult children of U.S. citizens) and begin the Adjustment of Status (AOS) process? Thank you for the comments,
  6. Any updates from NVC on your case ?

Hi - you did the right thing - however, this market is going to get better in few months. Meanwhile, no movement in "Visa Bulletin Priority dates" - still stuck in mud, spinning their wheels - nothing no one can do - but wait & that is all

      Hi,

Yes, we need to wait until the date becomes current. I hope you're doing well, and I wish you the best of luck!

P.S. If you hear any news about the IT market, please let me know. If the market improves, California is likely to be the first place where we'd notice changes.

      Thanks,
      David

I think - we have to wait until election & the new year hopefully we will have some traction in stalled IT job requisitions. At this point it's all quite.

      Hope for the best.
