I haven't received the invite/letter yet. Waiting for it but getting the rest of the documents ready.

I received an email telling me and my fiancee what documents need to be submitted to the embassy to receive our interview date.

Finally called the NVC and got my case number at least. Stuck on the "AT NVC" status. The lady said they wouldn't contact me or do anything further until the Lima embassy is accepting routine visa appointments again. Not sure how long that will take. Is there anything I could be working on or just wait patiently until the welcome letter comes?

You just email the NVC with your reason and evidence to support your hardship. They will review and if you’re approved, they will send your case to the embassy for the interview.

There will be no welcome letter as a K-1. The only thing you can do is try to expedite. Good luck!
