I am an older white male who grew up in the deep south.  Biden makes it sound like there is some huge network of white supremacy groups operating in this country. The truth is there is not. Its just more, look there is a boogeyman over there be afraid political whoodnism.

 

This is the same group of people who refuse to acknowledge ANTIFA, who burned cities all summer, is real.

Not to be a pain, but can you point to an instance of "weaponizing law enforcement" by any president of any political party in the past century?

Umm, I do seem to remember the FBI spying on an incoming Administration.  I do believe the FBI is a law enforcement agency.

Not to mention the IRS. Obama weaponized that agency too, all in a effort to take down Republicans and conservative journalists... You wont hear a Democrat don't talk about that, they'd much rather use race to detract from it.

That's not actually true (besides the fact that the IRS is not a law enforcement agency). Progressive and liberal organizations were targeted as well. And there has been zero proof of the allegation that Obama directed the agency to do what they did.

Interesting, so 3/4 of almost 200 cases audited leaned conservative and less than 10 (0 and 1 are less than 10) leaned left, kind of a big discrepancy.  Btw, Obama did not have to order it directly, plausible deniability.

The IRS itself is not a law enforcement agency. It has a Criminal Investigation Division (info here: https://www.irs.gov/compliance/criminal-investigation/how-criminal-investigations-are-initiated#:~:text=The Internal Revenue Service Criminal,of Justice for recommended prosecution.)

 

If after an investigation the division believes there should be a prosecution, it forwards its recommendation to either the Dept of Justice tax division or a US attorney (for non-tax-related crimes).

 

Saying there's "plausible deniability" is just a way of saying, okay, I don't believe the evidence that has come out of investigations so I'm going to stick to my guns anyway for [insert reason]. If there was no evidence -- and there was no evidence, go read it yourself -- that Obama directed any of this, we really have to assume that he did not do it. You can't in good faith say, okay, there is no evidence, I just feel it must be so, so that's my truth. That's kind of not the way investigations and prosecutions and litigation work though.

You are talking about an investigation that came out of the Senate.  It is not really worth the paper it is written on.
