timeline/progress discussion for January 2021 filers so I created one. 

 

I would like to know progress of other January filers as I am concerned that I have not heard anything yet and it's been over a month.

 

For anyone who filed their AOS application in January 2021, please feel free to share your progress in this thread!

Our journey so far for concurrent filing of I-130 & I-485 with I-765 & I-601:

Current Visa: B2

ASC: Atlanta, GA

Priority Date: unknown

 

2021

01/13/2021: Send packet via USPS

01/14/2021: Chicago Lockbox received the packet 

Not heard anything since, checks still not cashed

2/18/2021: Received USPS return receipt.  

2/26/2021: both of checks were cashed.

01/30/2021: Sent package via USPS Priority Mail

02/02/2021: Package was picked up by USCIS Courier at Chicago Lockbox

Not heard anything since, checks still not cashed.

Current Visa: B2

ASC: Baltimore, MD

Priority Date: 01/07/2021

 

2021

01/04/2021: Sent packet via USPS

01/07/2021: Chicago Lockbox received the packet 

01/13/2021: Received text messages for all forms (I-130, I-765, I-131, I-485) and CC charged for $1225.00 and $535.00

01/15/2021: Received all letters in the mail and used I-485 to get a drivers license at the MVA. (worked just fine)

01/30/2021: Received Biometrics appointment letter for 02/26/2021

02/26/2021: Biometrics done and case was updated to "Show fingerprints were taken".

We received our I-797 text today! Such a relief after such a long wait. Hope you all who filed and haven't got it yet, get yours soon.

Still waiting on my I-797 but check was cashed today! So it's only a matter of time for the receipt confirmation email/mail to arrive and hopefully the biometrics/interview appointment will follow soon after!

our PD is 12 of Jan 2021

received 14th of January 

 

yesterday I got my biometrics appointment letter and it’s in three weeks! 

Also, it is concurrent filling from ESTA after abandoning k1

I sent my package on 01/31/2021 (i-485, i-130, i-944, EAD and AP, Self Support Affidavit)

Received at the Chicago Lockbox on 02/01/2021

Haven't heard anything from them and they haven't cashed the cashier checks. 

Anyone that is in the similar situation than me? I am very concerned that I have not heard back from USCIS.

I think it's still within the timeframe that people have been sharing, 1-2 months to hear anything back from USCIS apparently, so hopefully within the next weeks your case will move forward!

My dad package was sent the same day, checks was cashed February 4th, 2021. 1  month difference for 2 packages sent and received the same day...
