Monday mini-report, minimally see man:

 

Took Uncle T-B. to his wound-care appointment, chauffeur we senior he man.

He is greatly impressed with the new T-B.-mobile, hint hint man.

 

To keep Mama T-B. from going aysheep*, got to appointment way early, yawn man.

     *her standard state, aysheep senior she man

We nearly fell asleep in the otherwise empty waiting-room, zzz we man.

Exceptional care for Uncle T-B., impressive man.

They can probably extend Home Health if we revisit in Many (2+1) weeks, appointment set man.

 

Concurrently, Mama T-B. got the staples out of her head, unstapled senior she man.

And she officially has a concussion, bonkus of the conkus man.

 

Lunch/din-din was the last Many (2+2) hot dogs, ingest we man.

Next year, he enters middle skool, whole new thing man.

 

We remember holding him when he was born, seems like just yesterday man.

Mini-Dave turned two last month. I've said a lot over the last couple months that while I remember the day before was born quite clearly (noting that he decided to pop out a little after 1 am*), the last two years, not so much.

 

* Which meant we weren't ready to sleep until 4am**

** also, some idiot didn't realize that if his wife was in labor in late afternoon/early evening he was going to be spending the night in the hospital so he should pack a change of clothes for himself too, not just for his wife

Our OB/GYN observed that, Many% of the time when he visits on the morning after birth, it's the husband who looks like he's given birth, surprising man.  We fell into this Many% of bedraggled new daddies, si man.

A little before mini-Dave was born (aka after midnight), I noted that I was dead on my feet, but PRG was bright-eyed and wide awake.

She was having a baby.

I was just giving encouragement, keeping family updated, and making snack runs.

I don't know how that works.

The Hillbilly was a first time Dad when we had the Tornado. She was born in the we hours of the morning. He was a hot mess and I had to make him go home for a nap. When he came back with the two of the older kids he was much better. He tried to spend the night on the bed/chair thingy too and that was rough on him without his cpap. So I had to send him home again. When the Jedi was born I just told him to go home and sleep. It was easier on me with him gone

This is the part I do miss of school. But more things like what happened yesterday just keeps me planted on home schooling. 

For bigger events the homeschool community does do things for graduations, and prom so they will not miss out if they want. The older 4 didn't care about that stuff. The boogers didn't even do their graduation from the UALR. I was bummed out though.

I mean, I did  go home and sleep the next night (and the night after) after confirming that they'd let me back in (this being April 2020) ...

The Hillbilly slept at the hospital and took naps at home during the day. He's stubborn, and wanted to be there with us. When the Jedi was born he had to go home in order for the Tornado to sleep (she was a tough cookie and she is still a handful to this day.) That was my excuse to get sleep myself.

Cousin Mini-B. has his hyskool graduation ceremony on Friday morning, graduate senior wee man man.

 

It is in a huge arena Many miles away, sigh man.

It starts at Many a.m., arise at o'dark-Many and fight peak traffic man.

(Why does no one agree with us that life should not start before noon, huh man?)

And graduations are boring, yawn man.

 

Furthermore, our foot hurts so badly that we can barely stand on it, mystery why man.

At least the shoe is on the other foot, whoopee man.

And we have one leg left to stand on, whoopee man.

 

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. will take half her family, in the Ex-Mrs.-T-B.-mobile man.

She recruited the Rojo to take the other half, why not just call Uber man.

We think that we will pick a fight with the Rojo in public, hee hee hee  man.

I remember when my daughter was born (Sept of 1985...LOL) after 36 hours of labor.  I was there for the first 30 plus hours and was dead tired.  Nurse sent me home saying I needed to get some sleep and it was still going to be a while.  I walked home as we only lived 2 blocks from the hospital and picked up the Sunday paper along the way.  Fell asleep face down on the floor reading the paper and woke up with the phone ringing.  It was the nurse telling me to get here quick as we were having a baby.  Made my way quickly to the hospital only to wait some more as the doctor wasn't ready.

 

The little one was jaundice and had to spend a few extra days in the hospital, but after 2 days they sent my ex-wife home.  She was feeling very good and had been walking the floor in the hospital.  She was feeling so good and decided she would walk home.  Nurse said NO ONE has ever walked home from the hospital after giving birth.  We explained we only lived 2 blocks away.  (Medical school, dental school, a couple of hospitals, and med-dent housing are all gathered close together in downtown Louisville)  Looking back it was a poor decision.  Started out OK but after the first block things started to go down hill.  Slower and slower.  By the time we got home the ex-wife said that it felt like her insides were dropping out...

 

When the second one was born, we used the car to go the 2 blocks.
