Hi all since my check was cashed this morning is it too soon to call USCIS to get my case number?  Also my husband is the petitioner I am the USC, can I call for the information or does my husband have to call?

It seems like everyone who got their checks cashed are getting a text in the following days, in my opinion it's not necessary to call yet.

Hi just called thank you @ MsKayC, followed your instructions and was able to get a very nice agent. They were able to give me his receipt number. She stated I will be getting the notice in 2-3 weeks.

I will keep you guys posted!

Would someone please help me understand when I will be eligible to file N-400 for citizenship?

I obtained my conditional residency 4/2019
will that mean that this is my third year 4/21 as a permanent resident therefore I can file on April of this year or do I have to wait this year to pass and file 2022?

We have the same timeline but for my understanding...I came in the US on May 2018 but only got my permanent residency card on April 2019. So technically, it's only been 2 years this year that I am considered a legal permanent resident of the US. Therefore, I can file for N-400 in April of 2022 which is the 3rd year of being a legal permanent resident.

I hope this kinda makes sense. :)
