Received 24 month extension letter on Oct 30th (LIN filer), of course that was the day AFTER I traveled internationally 😅

However, returned to the US a week later and went through immigration using 18 month letter without any issues!

My wife also just received her 24 month extension letter. That's good to hear you had no trouble re-entering the US. When traveling back, do you need to bring just the green card + extension letter? Or green card letter, plus the original NOA for the I-751, plus the extension letter?

Oh I forgot about one thing, Global Entry didn't work for me and I had to go through the regular line for immigration. The guy told me it could not scan my face as my 2 year GC has expired. So make sure you have plenty of time for the next flight.

Thank you for the tip! Sounds like we should wait on getting Global Entry until her green card is renewed.

So I just checked my i751 case online  it is ready to be scheduled for interview. I filed February 8 2021. I received noticed for biometrics in August . Had my biometrics taken on August 24th 2021. And interview ready to be scheduled as of  11/24/2021. ( MSC). I was praying for my interview to be waived but I see I must go for interview. I seriously don't like interviews and I am very nervous.

As a CR1, you didn’t get an AOS interview. That’s why you’re having an interview now.

Nothing to be nervous about if your relationship is bona fide. Just make sure you review the most common questions and go over them with your partner. It might help you feel better!
