Hi guys, so I filed October 2020 and my case was transferred January 2021 to NBC. Last Tuesday I put in a expedite request , Because I saw people who filed after me got approved before me....this morning I got a response that the request was denied because it didn't meet the urgent criteria, what struck me is that my case is at a uscis office in Alabama instead of NBC. The address is below.

I'm not quite sure why you requested an expedite request, some people are waiting way longer than us (October filers) and still heard nothing. Regardless, I wouldn't worry too much if I were you, from what I saw, being transferred to NBC is usually a good thing

Another YSC applicant here. Just got my biometrics waiver notice today in the mail, so does it mean they have touched my case? I don't know how long from now until approval or interview is scheduled (although here's hoping for interview to be waived as we have a little baby and will have to drive 3-4 hours if it's the same location as my 2-year GC interview).

At this stage, I don't expect much and will just start preparing my application for citizenship soon lol.

Congrats...it shows they have touched your case. I got mine since March 2021, but has been dead silent since then. Hope we get our approval soon.

Sigh I am a LIN Filer and I got an RFE last week. The stuff they requested is stuff I know I sent. How the bleep do they lose it. Sigh whatever. I gathered extra stuff and hopefully I should send things back out to them next week.  Oh well least I know they touched my case. My bestie was like what you and your husband are so in love it makes you sick. HAHAHAHA my friend the other day said she was jealous of all the dates my husband and I go on just because. Two weeks ago we just up and drive to Utah for a two day vacation. hahaha We have a week long vacay in Arizona to visit his brother and fam in July. We rented a house with a pool. Soooo excited for that. Like my husband said at least we are together waiting for things not like the K-1 wait. Truth.

You can probably put in a service request for your case since I believe SRC is up to October 12th

So the timeline actually jumped till December on the website today so I went to e request and I tried to file a request for out of normal processing time, as soon as I hit submit, it gets me to a page that says my case is in normal processing and it says that a request cannot be completed. It is clearly outside of processing time and I saw people here that applied even within the processing time and they got an email later on. Do you or anybody else suggest another way to reach out. Plus tried to call but it's always the automated system. Any advise for that too?
