    Hello, I filed for my minor child online, right now the status of my case is "Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Sent". I look up online and it seems like people get "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS" almost immediately. Anyone has any idea about it? Thanks!

    yes they did. My reason to expedite was that I couldn't afford out of state fee to enroll in college without the green card. Their reason to deny me: "There's a choice here, you don't have to go to college". You can claim financial loss for your job but I can see the same "reasoning" they might put on you "you don't have to take the job".. But no hurt to try

    Yes, that's most of the time how i-485 is expedited. Regular immigration officers cannot approve i-485 expedite request. A supervisor needs to review it. I tried a few years ago myself, and I did go to infopass appointment and they denied it lol

    I heard that there will be an online access code somewhere, I just received paper receipt of i-485, i-130, i-765, i-131 but I couldn't see the online access code. How are you guys' experience?
