Notice how silent Democrats have been about that statement.. If these looted businesses had any brains, they'd all MOVE OUT of Democrat run cities, because this will NOT be the last of it.

Some, if not many, might be entrenched in their neighborhoods, with extended families that include the elderly or infirm, etc.

 

The biggest shame, to me, is that already-struggling areas will (or have) become actual "food deserts," with nowhere for anyone -- especially the transportation-impaired -- to get groceries.

The problem with this thinking of the BLM organization is when will they be satisfied they have been adequately paid back?  Of course I know with this 'looting is just reparations" mentality, this will never happen, and will simply lead to even more division among the identities the Left has created.  All week the DNC has attempted to gaslight the American People into thinking the Dems are all for repairing divisions in the country, when behind the curtain, they are doing everything they can to spread those divisions even wider.

Even assuming the BLM movement wasn't a fraud or front, throwing money at any group of people as a problem solver is just dumb and its always been. The arguments why any black person is owed a thing for what other generations of a specific race did to some prior generation of blacks is inherently flawed. But because I find honesty and forwardness preferable, it persists because of toxic elements within the black community that overly rely on getting free stuff from the government. Then, you have endless blame shifting for one's own problems. Naturally, people that are raised to believe their problems are others' doing and that everyone owes them something for god-knows-what aren't going to be in the mindset of earning things or being productive people, even if you throw money at them. In all this time white and black people in the Democratic party run extremely black cities, all you've seen is perpetuating the same problems. These problems aren't that complex, but the solutions seem to remain mysteriously esoteric because you have really screwed up people who want to maintain blacks acting, voting, etc. in a certain way that benefits them, while it does nothing for blacks. They are perfectly content sitting indefinitely on a throne while the black serfs under them rot in misery. You know this by not only what you see, but what you don't see.. they don't ever encourage black individuality, don't encourage blacks to engage in critical thinking, to challenge norms in the black community the way they (and even whites) challenge white ones, act in a more self-preserving way, time and time again, they just encourage blacks to engage in self-defeating behaviors.. act hysterical and reckless when dealing with cops, dealing with people you disagree with, make awful financial choices..

 

It's transparently promoting bad choices by Group A to cause a problem that that Group B can swoop in and declare they'll solve by making Group A more dependent on Group B, rather than propping up Group A to make better choices and be self-sufficient. While its nothing like Jim Crow and the slavery of yore, this encompasses effectively the entirety of "systemic racism", but specifically by the very people who like to use this term. The 60s and MLK years had blacks thinking they could climb out of this mess. It was absorbed into the Democratic Party where they took that rightful ambition, turned it into dependency. Every time blacks look like they're on the cusp of getting out of it, like with this record unemployment rate, you have a single issue like this that they use to psychologically yank blacks back into the old mindset, keeping them in the same environment Democrats control. They gaslight them, telling them they're not black, they're acting white, and so on, they long took over the use of black identity and help ensure black identity is used against blacks being individuals, the primary way of psychologically enslaving blacks. Naturally, reparations is transparently a call to that, blacks being more dependent on the benevolent white lefty, to maintain psychological control of the environments where blacks are allowed to succeed, such as universities. The methodology of narrative control has never been more transparent than since Trump, it's what they're rapidly escalating because they've got no ideas individuals want to vote for.

I equivocally concur with the assessment hereto presented and  the postulation  of your basic premise and theorem to an excessive degree with little or no circumspection.

I completely and unequivocally agree.  As I said elsewhere, the Washington insiders which includes all the elected officials (both parties), the activist media, and the bureaucrats need to show they can control the electorate again and shape the country in their own image and in a way to maintain their power.  The election of Trump was not supposed to happen and even being in office three plus years, he is still not an insider hence the constant attack and narrative creation/regurgitation.  Hopefully with the explosion of news sources, and the waning reliance on the big media outlets, the electorate will not fall for this again.
