Conditional resident's Driver license with gold star would be best.  It goes through more rigorous residency and identity check than the non gold star driver licenses.  As far as the SSN card, I don't think it is really necessary. Uscis already has that on file.  And the original address printed on the SSN letter could have been changed since applying and SS department don't keep track of your residential address unless you update them.

Sent ours in on 7/3! Got a little bit of a late start (our first eligible day to apply was 6/19)

We sent in :

 - I-751

 - Front and back copy of GC and a copy of the NOA reflecting the I-485 approval

 - Anything in regards to our mortgage and purchase of our house

 - Building permit with both of our names shown

 - Bank statements for 3 different accounts showing us both as joint holders

 - Federal and State tax returns filing jointly for 2017 and 2018 - for 2019 we just sent in our tax packet as the IRS hasn't really moved on the processing front...

 - Credit Card statements showing both of our names - redacted any amounts shown

 - Health insurance card, front and back, and a paystub from my (USC) employer showing the monthly health care deduction

 - Car insurance statements from 2017-2020

 - home insurance statements and active policy

 - Utility bills - only showing one of us on each

 - Car tax showing both of us listed

 - Car loan statements (only 1 person listed)

 - Finance contract and purchase paperwork of the vehicle showing both of us listed

 - Marriage certificate

 - copies of both of our drivers licenses, front and back

 - photos of our wedding (2017) and us with family and friends in the years since, showing the date of the photo, the location it was taken and who else was in the photo

 - Copies of our anniversary cards from family and greeting cards from friends including the outer addressed envelope showing our address

 - 2x affidavits - one from my mom and one from my best friend from high school who has known my husband since we started dating

I fastened it with a big black binder clip and secured it in a plastic pouch with zip top to make sure it is water proof and made an exact replica of the package I sent to keep for reference. Mailed it via USPS Priority with signature request (not sure if that is even relevant anymore) The long wait begins...

Good luck!!

Hi Everyone! July filer here getting ready to file sometime mid-July, so in the next 10 days. I know it’s still early but anyone from July (or June) with any updates on their timelines? I skimmed through the April/May/June filers forums and it looks like for the most part people have been getting quick (~3 weeks) responses except for a few who haven’t heard back.

Happy to see no biometric appointments haha.

Oh I had a quick question...does anybody know what do we submit if our tax documents are still pending? I sent out my tax returns mid-March and it got delivered one month later after being lost and found and now due to covid-19 it has been sitting in the IRS mail room since April 15. I didn't know the benefits of filing jointly so for 2018, I filed married filing separately even though my USC spouse was unemployed and I only worked part-time and just half of the year. This year we filed jointly (amended) but it's stuck due to paper processing delay.

What can substitute for tax transcripts? My USC spouse is unemployed and doesn't file taxes (since 2016).

Hello all. I just sent in my i-751 (jointly,) yesterday via FedEx. It's scheduled to be received by Friday, July 10. I could have filed as early as June 22 but I miscalculated thinking the earliest I could file is July 22.

My packet includes;

Form G-1450

Form G-1145

Form i-751

Copy of Conditional Green Card, front and back

Copy of US Citizen husband's passport

Copy of our Marriage certificate

Copies of evidence of bona fide relationship;

   - Exhibit 1: 2018 & 2018 Tax transcripts/W2s, filed jointly

   - Exhibit 2: 2019-2020 Joint Savings Account and Credit       Card statements

   - Exhibit 3: Copies of my life Insurance, 401k and 403B         with my husband as elected beneficiary

   - Exhibit 4: Copies of Holiday and Greeting cards                   addressed to both my husband and I

   - Exhibit 5: Photos of my husband and I together

Fingers crossed that I receive my 10 year green card this year. I have been hearing a few scary news about USCIS processing times.

If you can't send IRS transcripts which USCIS prefers you can can send the signed files copies of the tax forms you filed.

I did follow that exact instructions. I placed the file in an envelope that I also labeled. This is also pretty much how I assembled our previous packets.

Many VJ members think that the affidavits are weak forms of evidences so I did not include it. I mainly followed this page in assembling my packet.

I feel confident in the evidence I have, it may not be a lot but joint tax transcripts and joints bank accounts are pretty solid evidence of bona fide relationship.

Quick question - did you send ALL 24 statements(2019-2020)? Or just to show continuation, every quarter or every 6 months?
