We're supposed to know soon  if he will renew the ban. I think his instructions were to give him a report 10 days before expiration so he can decide. Anyone care to guess?

Yup, I assume it will be extended. That was the administrations goal from the beginning and covid helped immense to accomplish this agenda point.

Been just watching the video of a NY Immigration lawyer that USCIS puts a halt on GC application of ppl who are already in the US. I am mildly freaking out here!!!

I read about this...I wonder if it includes LPR applications to US citizens.

Highly doubt any of this is true.  She has no source that can be certified official. Sure some services are affected but in general Green cards are getting approved

I hope you are right with this. I mean I did read about the USCIS threatening with furloughing 70% of their staff again. I also see naturalization ceremonies happening but no interview appointments for GC applicants, although some field offices are open again.

USCIS is a fee based organization and not rely of govt for $$$. lets hope they sort things out and open ASC's and start interviews
