AOS still not process and check not cashed

Hi everyone,

 

I sent my wife’s AOS on March 30 and arrived at the lockbox as delivered since April 3. Currently my check still has been cashed. Are there currently a delay? It’s been 2 weeks and I hear some people do take longer, but at this point is it because of the covid 19 delays?

It can take up to 6 weeks, with or without covid.

So it was delivered on the 3rd but it probably wasn't picked up until the 6th. So that means it has been less than 2 weeks so far. You are still well within the time it can take to receive the NOA1

You need to give it at least 30 days before you start worrying. Within those 30 days you will have received either NOA1 or the package back in your mailbox.

K-1: 12-22-2015 - 09-07-2016

Took mine 21 days to be processed last year in February before the hoopla started. So you have a few weeks before you should worry.

It shouldn't.   AOS and ROC will continue as normal.  Well the new Coronavirus normal.

April 6,2023 Legally Separated - Oh well

I got the received mail on April 3rd. Check still hasn’t been cashed yet. Will updated when it does.

Mine was delivered on the same day as yours. I am still waiting to hear back from USCIS.

When did they cash your check or did you use credit card?

I used check.

I got the text late night 22nd Apr, and they cashed out the next day.

So they have finally processed my AOS today and got notification with case number. Received on April 3, and processed AOS fee ok April 28. 25 days total.

Check cashed today 4/30 and got text message yesterday 4/29
