Consulate Review: Bangkok, Thailand
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : October 10, 2019
Embassy Review : The fiancé went to the interview hoping to be ask more question. The old gentleman only asked 3 questions: when did you met, what does he do for work and where will you stay. My fiancé prepared so much and had so much to say. But the interviewer only wanted simple answers. Was approved on the spot and told to wait 1 week. Day after got a text saying that passport was being sent out. And checked on ceac issued 10/10/19. Interview date 10/9/10.
Rating : Very Good

The police certificate took exactly three weeks to arrive. We paid 200 baht for the process. Was not told about expedite since we were not in a rush. Fiancé isn’t planning to travel until end of March.

Fiance got the visa within 2 days after the interview. It was so quick. Now the wait for her graduation.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
