no what is the right one to use for android? Where does the tracker app get its data if not from USCIS ?

I-Tunes
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lawfully-case-tracker/id1435063223
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/visa-tracker/id1320556071
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/case-tracker-for-uscis/id921827126

Android
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spinachsoftware.immigration.uscis.casestatus&hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xiaohui.usciscasechecker
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.robertmm.usciscasestatus

Note: the USCIS Case Tracker app lets you set a range of WAC# before and after yours to see the status of those cases. Very slick tool to ascertain where you are in the processing timeline of USCIS compared to others. Use the first one in Android for best results.

Thank you. I'm still curious as to where they get the data. It looks like they just scrape the data. I'll try the first one ;)

It looks like they just check the uscis website for you multiple times a day so us crazy people dont have to drive ourselves insane checking every 20 minutes .lol

The last paragraph gives you your answer to how its done. You use a range of WAC# some before your number and some after to which you'll have an idea where you are in line. The graphing information is an excruciating that takes time to extrapolate the information to complete the exercise that you see posted.

Technically speaking, an RFE is a written request for more information and documentation that USCIS mails out if they believe that they don’t yet have enough evidence to approve or deny a given application. An RFE normally is a minor item and should not be looked at like it's a denial but an opportunity for you to complete your application. USCIS would not send out an RFE if they were going to deny your application. It's just a step that they must take and once they have your information and it meets their approval then you should be seeing your NOA2.

There are many varying degrees of RFE's. Some as simple as not "ticking" off a question. Others forgot the fiancé(e) letter and then others who met on a website and now need to prove that it wasn't a marriage arrangement website.

Once you get your RFE, read over very carefully as you only have one chance to reply accurately without causing undue harm. Once you know FROM THE RFE what it is set out to correct and to include "everything" they are asking for. Then reread the RFE to ensure you are compliant. Make copies of everything for your record and send back using their instructions which are contained within the RFE. If the RFE requires a signature, PLEASE don't forget this. Include the original RFE letter along with a cover letter explaining what you are including in your reply. Like a checklist format. Once received at USCIS your case will begin adjudication where the agent had left off. No one can tell you how long it will take so be patient.

Hi @Greenbaum!

As you have always mentioned in the many replies you give here... The man with the gold is the one making the rules! The RFE is about a name difference... My fiance (the petitioner) is registered in CR with 2 last names and in USA just with one... Now they want evidence to prove it is the same person... We are wondering if we can submit his Costarican ID copy and his US passport bio page (both including photos to prove is the same person), or if there is something else needed to prove is the same person. Thanks

Do you have a CR passport with the correct names? How about a BC with both names? Is the Costarican ID something that is not easily considered a "forgeable" document. In other words, is it like a state driver's license? Anyone of those would be good proof of her naming.

Our NOA 1 was April 6th as well...I check USCIS and the app constantly just waiting to hear anything at all, and I'm driving myself (and him lol) crazy.  I know it's just going to sit at the NVC for who knows how long but Im desperate for any movement at all.

Im super happy for everyone that's seen some movement on theirs though!

Hi @Armika

Yes, we sent an inquiry outside of processing times to USCIS last November 4. That time their current processing date was April 7, 2020 (just before they adjusted their timelines). They said they will reply to our inquiry by November 26 but we did not receive any feedback until we saw that our case was updated from received to approved.
