Note the line about travel within the past 14 days to ANYWHERE outside the USA. And note the impact of the COVID-19 situation on interviews and oath ceremonies.

I am confused about the mention of "Daily Oath Ceremony Format". I am not sure what that is.

I think what they mean by that is the usual oath ceremony in any given location will be changed/modified to deal with the new conditions (need for social distancing etc).

 

For example, I had my oath ceremony this past Friday in NYC. It was explicitly mentioned that they had changed the structure of the ceremony and eliminated some parts (which aren't legally necessary) in order to reduce the amount of time we were all together in the same room. So a ceremony that usually goes for 1 hour was reduced to about 20-30 minutes max. No guests were allowed in the room. We were also told (nicely) not to stay around taking photos in the area afterwards either so as to minimize contact between people. Overall they did a great job at honoring the importance of the occasion whilst also taking the new conditions into account. I wouldn't have cared if it was 5 minutes long! I was so grateful they didn't cancel it.

for naturalization, I wonder who wants a full formal ceremony these days? With mine last year sorry but I dreaded the 'introduce and say something about yourself' part. I didn't mind hearing these from other people but hated to do this myself.

So the interview process is still on at multiple places? Mine is on 19th March so i just want to get through the interview and oath ceremony

It's on unless you receive an official notification from USCIS that it isn't.

Thank you. Haven't heard anything yet, but still 3 days to go, anything can change with the current situation

The only people dying have an average age of OVER 80.  So not, its not something a healthy/normal adult should worry about.

This is FALSE. Also, try developing some compassion while you are waiting for your I-129F to be processed.

You should be ashamed of yourself. First of all, people younger than 80 are also dying. Second of all, even if only people over 80 were dying, their lives are still important and we have a duty to protect them.

 

Most normal adults have parents and grandparents. Of course they worry about them. If you don't think old people have the right to live, I don't know what to tell you.
