I'd really like to see USCIS start approving K3 petitions so we can hear how miserable the beneficiary is having to AOS.

Its really a hit and miss. What works for some might not work for another. I am in a Group on fb and a member filed i29f after her i130 and it was denied but her i130 was approved in less than a year. Prob between 4- 6months

Yes.  That person is also a member here.  The point is that we haven't seen any post-October 2019 cases.

I'm not sure, but I think that trick stopped working in September or October......if I remember correctly........but there is no harm in trying...unless they actually issue a K-3......good luck.

Yes that was back in September. The last I have seen of this approval thing was in November and I am in a bunch of these groups also and there's nothing. There's a group on Facebook just for K3 filers and nothing since November

As others have said, the I129f trick seems to have stopped working after October. The last approvals I had seen from it were in September-October and anyone who's filed since October or later has not heard anything yet. IOEs (the new system which every I130 is now part of) who filed I129f at any time haven't heard anything either

Interesting note: For Oct '19 and Nov '19, they explicitly reported "0" for Kabul and San Salvador, respectively. Maybe approved I-129F were sent to those embassies and applicants filed DS-160, but the COs still denied the K-3 visas?

That is a scarry refusal rate for K1s, especially since the petition goes thru USCIS.  Granted USCIS is primarily looking at the petitioner and free to marry, etc.  

I wonder how many of those are solely because of I-134 issues.
