Hello friends!

I'm a LPR, filing for my Spouse. PD is Oct 31st, 2019. NOA1 came from CSC, however couple of days ago i noticed a date in my.uscis was Feb 23rd so i Inboxed them and a reply came in with NSC.😭 So they apparently transferred us from 8.5-11 months to 20.5-26.5. I was trying to figure out if there are anyone with same situation (LPR filing for their Spouse)???. I feel destroyed.

Why you feel destroyed? PR filing for their spouses does take longer time than US citizens.  You just filed on October 31st and with COVID-19 when things have slowed down for everyone, you are not outside the processing time.

Dear Retongo,

If the petition starts with IOE, it is 'transferred' to other service center to balance the work load - online. It is like a online ticket system where agents are working on tickets and the work load getting balanced after every few weeks. Your case being 'transferred' momentarily to another service center DOES NOT mean that it is delayed. It will follow the CSC timelines only. You should not be disheartened. These 'transfer' are automatic and not even considered important to be informed to clients (us).

LPR cases are slower compared to USC mostly.  In my opinion, you will be approved in less than 2 months (provided USCIS do not change anything).

For more info google - impact of Transfer of IOE 130.

Thank you for the replies. I'm aware of LPRs cases taking longer thats why i mentioned my status. I really hope @DesiGirlChicago is correct however all i found says the opposite.

I feel destroyed because processing time for i-130 in CSC were 8.5-11 months but now since case was transferred to NSC its 20.5-26.5 months. Cases follow timelines of the centers they have been transferred to at least thats what my research says. The only hope i have is that whoever sent me Inbox response was mistaken and my case is still in CSC. Otherwise the I-130 approval is shceduled for Sep 2021-Jan2022. Will call them monday for Tier 2 rep.

You won't have to wait that long at all. If you look at people being transfered, most of them have their case moving forward within a few months or even weeks. You would be happy if I were you 😉

Hello everyone,

I have been reading a lot in this forum about the date change in the USCIS online account. My NOA1 is October 25th, and it seems like the last date they touched our case was December 20th. Should I be worried? It seems like some of you who had filed in October had much later date changes. Thank you in advance for your help :)
