If i may ask on what grounds did you get expedite?

We had two reasons:

- Because my husband, that lived with me abroad since we've been married got a job in the US with very little notice and had to leave basically one day to the other (this would even qualify you to do the entire process over the consulate)

- Medical

Hi. Is there anyone here who has expedited their case at the NVC stage? If so, how long does it take for the file to be sent to the Embassy after the expedite request is approved?

Congratulations  !   Did you expedite your case ?  How to do it ?  Thanks

Thank you so much! To expedite your case at the NVC stage, you have to send your request, along with proof, to nvcexpedite@state.gov. The NVC will send the request to the Embassy for a decision. Then the NVC will get back to you with the decision.

What could be the basis to expedite the IR.5 cases , acceptable to NVC ? Thanks .
