I am not sure how do they assign Service Centers to cases. I hope is not Nebraska nor California as they have the longest processing times of all centers for I-130, hopping it is either Texas or Vermont.

Did you get an email as well? My husband got the case number as well as the SC in the mail and then it for sure says it on the bottom of the hard copy you’ll receive by email.

i think they assign it according to internal business guideline I read somewhere, but not sure what they look like.

we got Nebraska 😞 but luckily in the Online Tool (new since July 2019) so hoping it’ll be quicker.

Hi everyone,

I’m excited to share this journey with the rest of you.

* I-130 package sent: Friday, 10/11/2019. Sent via FedEx 2-day Express delivery to Dallas Lockbox. Cost me roughly ~$25. Estimated time of delivery: Tuesday @ 4:25pm.

* I-130 package arrived: Monday, 10/14/2019 @ 9:33am.

* NOA1 received: Today, Friday, 10/18/2019. Exactly one week after submitting the package. Was notified twice via e-mail and text message (4 total notifications) because I filled out Form G-1145. Our case has been sent to Nebraska Service Center for processing. Fml LOL. 😫 In this e-mail, I’ve also been notified that I will receive form I-797 within 7-10 business days.

Woooooooooooooo... Nebraska..

We posted October 14, and it arrived October 18 (came via Australia) at the Dallas Lockbox. Cost $52 AUD. Could have paud $102 AUD and it would have taken 2 days instead of 4/5 days.

Eager to know what SC we are assigned too!

We have no real preference as all have pros/cons in terms of wait time! Nebraska means I can comfortably finish my studies. Potomac means we might be there for Christmas 2020. SNOW!

Hi everyone

Since I haven't seen a group for the I-130 October filers yet, I thought I'll create one so that we can share our experiences on here.

My husband just recently submitted our I-130 petitions, receiving the NOA1 email on October 7th and the hard copies yesterday.😃

What service center is everyone assigned to? Are there any others with IOE numbers and processing by the Nebraska Service Center ?

Good luck to all of you! I hope everyone's case will be approved quickly 😊

I filed at the end of October, the 29th 2018. Have not heard a word from this Service center since I received NOA1. Still awaiting!!!
