Is anyone here using an affidavit of support from any friends and family? We have a roommate who we've lived with for over 2 years and she's really close to both of us so she written one for me. I always feel like maybe they don't carry that much weight seeing how anyone could write one but I'm also thinking why not? 😬

Picked up my medical form today, added some last minute documents to my pile and now we just count down! 🙏🏼

I just realized that my doctor didn't stamp the medical. Do I have to correct this? It says health departments and military facilities must place their official stamp here. My doctor is a primary care doctor.

I didn't open it, I'm looking at my copy of it.

My Copy is not stamped at all. I don’t know about the one in the envelope.

Oh wow, now I'm stressed about only having one 🤣 I have had multiple people (who've been through this process) look at our documents and they all say we're fine but I keep worrying it's not enough!

Haha I had to go weigh ours now... With all the originals it's 11 lbs! 🤣 5 lbs of just copies to give them if asked.

We have ours next Wednesday at 1pm!

I think we're both over stressing. I know theyre not gonna look at 150 pics or even half of what we'll bring. All the reviews for my office said they didn't even want any pics. My game plan is to haul the binder out and impress them with my organizing skills 😂🤣

We brought 3 American letter sized pieces of paper with about 20 pics arranged on then as collage.. I feel like you are WAY overthinking it. They are not looking to deny you, they are looking to make sure all checkboxes are verified.  My view is the more you give, the more it will give them reason to ask more questions.

LOL yes you are! Really as long as you bring what it says on the list, you will be just fine and anything else is just extra. Even if you don't get an on-the-spot approval, it will not have anything to do with the amount of stuff you brought or didn't bring. As long as you tell the truth and bring the REQUIRED (medical, updated affidavit of support/income if needed, marriage certificate, etc etc etc) stuff that the interview notice says, you are 1000% fine!

I do believe both I and gigi are fine, but Im still nervous lol. We're bringing a lot of new evidence that we didn't have when we applied. I also have been denied a visa to the US so that worries me a little bit. Although the fact that they did finally approve I hope will help.

Hi all, we got the update on Jan.13 that our Interview had been scheduled. However we still haven't received the notice in the mail. I tried calling in on Friday but the rep. was unhelpful. I was told tier 2's were no longer taking calls for the day. Anyways has anyone gotten their notice this late? I have USPS informed delivery so I check that every day. We'll try to call again Monday morning.
