Hi,

My documents have been accepted but they ask for the proof of current employment status of my joint sponsor. Now my question is that after submitting the proof NVC will take same time to review as before or this time wait will be less?

Yes it takes same amount of time as you did submit for the first time. There is no difference between first time submission or the second or third time or any more time. just check through the NVC processing time line for the accurate reference.

So apparently they needed my W2 which I just submitted. Am I really at the back of the line again? How long is the wait nowadays?

Guys i got a mail from nvc saying

that our case for an immigrant visa is documentarily complete at the National Visa Center (NVC) and has been for at least 60 days.

How long does it take for them to schedule an interview for my family?

My case was dq back in March 2020!

hello everyone. on april 30 nvc requested for me to submit my latest tax transcript which is unavailable because the irs holding 29 million tax returns and will be processing them manually. like a week prior to this irs already announced that they will be having delays and holding 29 million tax returns. but nvc still requested those tax transcripts. in my first documents submitted were a copy of my tax returns. ive just found out reently that nvc can accept tax returns if the tax transcripts are not available. so my thung is knowing of the irs delays and that i submitted my tax returns why in the hell did they still request my tax transcripts and not accept my tax return. and its already june 5. so already 1 month and about a week my wifes process has stopped.i called nvc they told me tat whatever day i submitted any document will be my new sumission date and case review date. and i submitted my last document on june 1. ive been sending them all kinds of documents too. this process is so stupid. if tbey are understaffed because of covid 19 then they should check on documents submitted versus requesting any other adiitional documents in te damn first place. my wifes visa class is IR1 and  i dont see any priority given to our visa class which im asking are they really giving priority to family based visas or are they doing all visa class  as a priority

nvc is short staffed because of covid 19 so they need to hire more people to work if others dont want to come in since most should of been vaccinated already. there should be no more excuses for nvc to make any more delays. if the congress and senate and president and vice president can work because their people are vaccinated so should all other government agencies. if those who are not vaccinated they should find temporary replacement because those who ate not vaccinated probably wont ever get vaccinate and because of them they will be creating delays and that doesnt need to be happening anymore since there are vaccines available
