DQ isn't doing anything since pretty much none of the embassies are working atm. What real question should be on this thread is what do we need to do to help our family member(s).

1. None of you are talking about Public charge questionnaire, which is believe it or not denied a lot of family based visas.

2. Even tho they get visas, how long do we have before flying to US?

I think we should help eachother with these questions, unless y'all know.

The question I have for Public charge questionnaire is that do the rule apply to everybody seeking an immigration visa to the USA  right now or  the public charge rule only apply for new immigration applications after the Public charge rule put in effect.   I started my immigration case CR1 around May 2019 does the public charge rule apply to me?   In case, the rule Public charge rule does apply to my case how can you show to have health insurance for someone whom do not have any social security number and still in foreign country?

I read on NVC website and it showed that you may be ask to complete Public charge questionnaire.     so that why I am not sure the Public charge rule apply to everybody.   Anyone have any further info about Public rule questionnaire please post here to clarify thing for everybody.  Thank you

For those who are coming to the US as a new immigrant will have to satisfy the consular officer meaning either already have a Health care plan or will get it in 30 days. But this is confusing because for new immigrants who doesn’t have anyone in US, how are they gonna get insurance.?That’s why They’ve another package called travel insurance for 365 days, they’ve to get it prior to their interview. That’s all I read on their website.

Hi guys, thank you so much for your help!  My wife had her interview on 7/7/2020, visa issued 7/9/2020. Hope it goes quick and smooth for all of you.

Hey congratulations man. Was she asked about public charge questions? If you can help us out since she’s the recent one with issued visa. TIA
