Update.

Approval Notice received today.

USCIS mailed my green card.

When do I get the tracking number or there is no tracking number to track my card?

Check the app or the website.  It should list a tracking number there.

This is the update. There is no tracking number attached to it. How do I find the tracking number?

You need to have an account (sign in with username and password) to get the tracking number.  If you are just using the case tracker with your receipt number, I don’t think it will work.

I have an account and I signed in, but there was no tracking number attached to it.

Can I ask Emma?

You can try. Yes, I wonder if it doesn’t have one because USPS has not picked it up.  Like USCIS “mailed it” but it has not been picked up by the USPS system.

Okay. I will try. But i think you have a point here. Because, I didn't even get the notification about "card was mailed to me". I only try check if there was any update and I saw that.

I will wait till tomorrow and see if there will be a tracking number.

Question : Is it USPS that provide the tracking number or USCIS?

The status will change to: The post office picked up your card.

In this status you will see the tracking number. But there's a high chance you will receive the card before the status changes. That's what happened to me.

Sign up for USPS Informed Delivery and you will see the tracking number there first when they mail it out.

So I had my AOS interview yesterday 12/8/2020.

The interviewer was quite friendly and the questions were pretty basic. She went through the information we filled in the AOS document, reconfirmed the answer and asked how we met.

She said my medical examination was not in the file so gave me a letter to do the medical exam again. She said she would approve when I mail the completed form I-693 back to her.

Congratulations I know it's  been a long  haul for you. Take a few days off celebrate, then start preparing for your ROC and gathering more documents and proofs. Get a shoebox or large  cellophane bag and start dumping your ROC proofs inside until you are ready to apply. That's  what I  have been doing!
