We also had the same situation, were waiting two months for welcome letter and finally got it today (in my local time it was just after midnight).

I wonder if there was perhaps some kind of problem with uploading/transferring the documents of a batch of cases.  But it seems like the problem is resolving now.

I'm pretty sure there was a problem. Someone else that's been waiting got theirs too around the same time mine came in, so I'm sure the issue(s) have been resolved. So on the next step, good luck

On Sunday I finally submitted my request of my case being out of normal waiting time for my I-130 I tried so many times before but it never worked before! I always got an error saying that I was on current waiting time. I got an email right after and  they said they will give me an answer by August 17th, what should I expect now? Did you guys have your I-130 approve after sending this request? I'll appreciate your comments thank you!

Update for me! About 3 weeks ago I got an email from the NVC after an exact 2 months wait. I am in the process of completing all the forms. I had emailed the email: nvcresearch@state.gov and after that I got the email just in case anyone is wondering who to contact. I was always asking on Ask NVC Forum but never got a good response.

Can you tell us more about your RFE? what specifically did they request and what did you do to satisfy their request? Thanks

Been lurking this forum for a long time and with some good news I am decided to post. Everyone is super helpful and hope I can do the same.

Got my NOA2 2 weeks ago and NVC case number last week. USCIS never emailed me anything, in fact on USCIS portal, it still says 'Your benefit request has been accepted and is under review'

Submitted I-130: September 23, 2019

NOA1: September 26, 2019

NOA2 (Date the I-130 approval file was uploaded on the portal): October 1, 2020

NVC case created: October 6, 2020

Just paid the NVC fees and currently under 'payment processing'.

Hope everyone from this thread is getting their approvals as well!!

Anyone here got an interview yet? I'm wondering if I should be worried and contact someone about it. I got approved in October 2020 but have been waiting for interview instructions for months now. I heard some interviews are being taken. Anyone know anything about it?

Hi. My husband had his interview in November and was approved. We were just expedited at NVC though. Few interviews are happening without an expedite now. There are also huge expedite lines in some places so that may be why you haven’t heard anything.
