That’s a very nice way to look at the RFE.

Thanks @Greenbaum! I’m ready for getting a RFE for not putting NA on all blank fields, but I know that if it happens, it’s a quick fix!

I feel the same. We didn't put NA. 😓

Honestly, Idk LOL.  Not stressing it too much at the minute, still reading and thinking about it but Im at the late end of the Sept filers, so I dont expect to hear anything until Jan LOL. I will probably start stressing next month. Hoping for the best though! Just working, spending time with my SO in skype and such. Looking at houses to buy, preparing for the transition :D

Sounds like a good plan!

I don't think either of you have anything to worry about as long as the questions did not apply to you!

Hi there - only a quick note to introduce ourselves :) Kristen (US, TN) and me, Max (UK) - posted 30th Aug, NOA1 (CA Centre), 8th Sept - and waiting patiently, less so now - look at Stats daily :)

Quick question - how is the NOA2 send to Kristen, is it email/text/letter? We sent in the paperwork for the e-notifications.

Happy for ppl to follow us :)

Good luck all!

The hard copy NOA2 will be sent by mail. You may get notified by text or email, but the actual  hard copy will be delivered  by mail.

Hi everyone :)

Since waiting impatiently is hard 🤣, what can we be doing to prepare for the next steps? Is there anything we can prepare now for the NOA2 stage or afterwards?

Thanks!

We are still waiting patiently.  But more excited now since my fiancee's tourist visa was approved and she will be coming to the states for the holidays!

Consider yourself lucky lots of couples don't  have that luxury. 😉

Do we have a whatsapp group or any other group for Sept. 2019 filers? My estimated approval date keeps changing, now in Jan. 2020. It is not that bad. I have not had time to stress about it.

Well your in a whatsup group now here on VJ. Once you file you remain a Sept 2019 filer till your application is approved and then if you so desire, go over to the next XXX (xxx = month) 2019 NOA2 to NVC thread.

We need a little housekeeping from you if you would please.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Hey, all.  New to the forum.

I-129F
Filed:  9/11/19
NOA1:  9/16/19

I am in Florida and my fiance is in Australia.

Question:  How are any of you planning any sort of wedding with the timeline being so difficult to estimate?

My finance is from Australia too and I'm just over in Mississippi on the coast!

I'm probably crazy but we're planning ours with the worst case scenario being us losing a deposit.  We tried to file early enough that we had wiggle room in our timeline but not so early that it'd force him to come here too soon.  I'm military and we'll be moving even further away from my family next year which is why we're trying to plan it.  It's a little stressful but it'll work out how it's meant to... All we can do it make sure we're prepared and continue to follow instructions!

Hello to everyone else as well!  We received our NOA1 6 Sept 19 and I'm just now exploring the forums.

We have a FB Messenger group (m.me/join/AbbA6sq8ZR787jb6) and you're welcome to join us. Just to be clear though, that is just an informal place for us to talk to other filers about life, relationships, what-have-you. For inquiries about the process and such, we still refer to this VJ thread. 😊
