  1. I understand what you are asking. Unfortunately, there is no quickest way. You submit your AOS/EAD and wait.
  2. I think you would be wasting time and money. If you apply for the CR1 in January, it is highly unlikely that you would even have an interview by July. So you change the visa and start all over. K-1 visas are slowly starting to move. You might want to hold off and be patient. Is your case at the consulate already?
  3. I understand. It seems as of last night the fee change will not take place on 10/2/20 but we don't know how long that will uphold. He was put in AP because his medical expired the day after his interview so since he could not travel by the next day they made him retake his medical. Do you have any idea how long it may take for them to issue the visa once they receive the medical results?
  4. Will this still apply once the new fees go into affect 10/2/2020?
  5. Keep in mind that you will have to meet the income requirements to prove that the beneficiary will not become a public charge.
  6. You do realize that you came on here asking for OUR opinions correct? If you do not want realistic answers you should not be asking the questions. I highlighted the information that YOU provided us. It clearly reads "I married a friend last year to help get her documents" then act as if people are assuming you were committing fraud. You literally and willingly just provided those FACTS to us. We are all here to help each other out and ask questions to assist in a successful journey. If you are not wanting real answers you should probably stop wasting everyone's time.
  7. Thanks for not just giving me a quick answer and helping me understand why. I appreciate that 😉
  8. I know that the MRV fee is valid for 1 year but the NOA2 has an expiration date. With the embassies being closed, it will expire. Greenbaum do you think it will still be honored?
  9. Yes, only the Medical Exam must be completed by approved physician. He completed the exam in February. When did you schedule your interview?
  10. I have never heard of the vaccinations having to be done by an approved physician only the actual exam. I think you might be misinformed or maybe misunderstood.
  11. What is this for? I haven't came across this required document in my process. I just want to make sure I'm not missing something as my fiancé has his interview next month.
  12. I'm not really sure where to add this bit of information but it was very helpful for me regarding insurance for immigrants in the US. I have been searching the web, asking multiple forums and making several calls trying to figure out if my fiancé would be able to use the Marketplace to shop for insurance on a K1 visa. This article from healthinsurance.org answered all of my questions and some. Hopefully this information will be of use to others with the same questions. https://www.healthinsurance.org/obamacare/how-immigrants-are-getting-health-coverage/
