Thanks - that leaves me with some hope receiving it until mid November. Need to travel...

I hope it will move smoothly for you as well. I was growing increasingly frustrated especially since others have already received their bio notice and we just received our extension letter.. while some are still waiting for extension.

We still haven't received our biometrics notice, but I saw a thread on here that said all Texas Service Center folks are receiving those letters super late. There are two letters, for us, and we've always received every USCIS mailer, so I doubt it got lost in the mail. Still waiting...

The K1 journey:                                                                                                                             The AOS journey:

11/09/2013 - I-129F Packet mailed to Dallas Lockbox                                                                                         06/22/2015 - AOS packet mailed to Chicago Lockbox

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

06/19/2015 - Wedding (L)

The ROC journey:

10/12/2017 - ROC packet mailed to VSC

01/21/2019 - ROC Approved - there was no interview

The N-400 journey:

02/16/2020 - N-400 application filed online

02/21/2020 - Paper NOA received in the mail

03/13/2020 - Biometrics

02/02/2021 - Interview & test - Approved

02/05/2021 - Oath Ceremony

Just to share that I was able to renew my driver’s license with the extension letter. So, it works. I confess that I was a little skeptical.

I-751 Timeline/ EAC - Vermont Service Center

9/23/19: I-751/ G-1145 sent by USPS Priority Mail

9/25/19: Received Date

9/26/19: Notified by USPS that the package was delivered (one day later... 🙄)

9/27/19: NOA1 Date (also the day USCIS texted me saying that they've received  my package on 9/25)

9/30/19: Check was cashed

10/3/19: Received NOA1 by mail with 18 months extension

10/11/19: Biometrics appointment notice

10/21/19: Date when I received my appointment letter

6/25/20: email from  USCIS saying that card is being produced

6/26/20: email from USCIS saying that case was approved

7/15/20: email from USCIS saying that card was ready to be picked up by USPS

7/16/20: email from USCIS saying that card was taken by USPS

7/17/20: I received the 10 year green card!!!!🙌😎

N-400 Timeline/ Online

9/22/20: Window opens and I sent my application online

10/1/20: Got my NOA from USCIS via mail (in which it is said that the notice date, received date, and priority date are 9/22 (the same day I submitted the application)).

5/15/21: Biometric  appointment scheduled

6/11/21: Biometrics completed

7/14/21: Interview scheduled for 8/9/2021 (however, I have moved, and even tough I had told USCIS that I moved in June 19, I still got an interview from my old address). I cancelled the interview and requested a new date.

9/8/21: New interview scheduled for 10/28/21

10/28/21: Interview day! Interviewer was super nice, not much of wait. I brought some documents, He told me that I did the favor of submitting more than enough documents online and he did not have to see any more documents and that he would recommend my case to be approved. (Also, he laughed a lot after seeing a picture of my husband and I with Rosie O'Donnell)

10/29/21: I checked on my USCIS that my oath ceremony was schedule for 11/10/21. It was really quick, actually the letter only arrived around 11/5, but they upload myUSCIS much quicker than USPS delivers the mail.

11/10/21: I became an american citizen and my journey here is over. Thank you everyone for the advice and good luck!

 Congratulations! It’s so fast , isn’t??

I got my NOA about 3 weeks ago , and I see USPS notifications about another letter from immigr. It must be biometrics!! 😻😉

I wonder why some people like us get it so fast , and others need to wait months ?

02/08/2019 - Package was received .

I swear I felt that way too. I got my NOA, 3 days after I sent my documents and a week after the first NOA I got my biometrics appointment letter.

I just wish it could be really fast to get the whole process done.

I am currently in Tennessee, my case is in Dallas center. I met someone in the city I live in, saying she applied for removing condition in August 2018, she has not gotten her extension.

That news, worries me.

The wait times can be very long, but as long as you have the 18 month extension letter, you have your bases covered and you've done all you can.  USCIS knows they're taking a long time with these, which is why they're issuing 18 month extension letters now (they used to issue 12 month extension letters before the processing times got slower).
