Have my interview tomorrow and had a question about the civics test - there are questions with multiple answers like 'why did the colonists fight the British' ?.. so for these kind of questions, do I have to memorize all the answers? Or just one of the acceptable answers is fine?

How was your Interview today?

It went well, waited almost 3 hours before we were called to the interview. Passed the English and civics test without issues, however the IO couldn't make the decision on n400 because my i751 needs to be approved first. He said that that i751 approval is done in Nebraska and he will get that done morning of next day as my interview ended at 4 30 and they close around that time. Will update here when my status change.

Also, I asked if my oath ceremony could be rescheduled to April but he said he can't reschedule oaths anymore and I can do it by sending the oath notice back to ATL office when I receive it in mail.

After having a very smooth interviewing experience at the start of this week, my online status update system seems to adamantly remain ignorant of its occurrence.

My status update still stuck at Interview Scheduled stage from last year. I called the customer service and they told me that the online system sometimes take some time to "process". I have also made my maiden use of the hi-tech messaging system that's given to us in our my-uscis account, by sending a message inquiring (really, begging) about the delay in the online status updates.

I even opened up the N400 officers manual available online on the USCIS website and have studied it with great interest. I specially paid attention to all the relevant portions related to different bureaucratic possibilities for decision making that may arise from the interview. It also contained a little nugget on the actual sausage making post-interview: apparently the interviewing officer who recommends the approval must not make the actual decision to approve but he/she must hand the file off to another officer who would then perform a final review before deciding whether to make the decision that was made already to stand as the absolute final judgment upon the fate of the applicant.

This is good to know.  I am also stuck at Interview Scheduled after 3 weeks.   My file wasn't sent on time but luckily he still interviewed me.  He was really great about it all.

I'm just anxious to check that box

Yes, it is very frustrating. In my case, IO only asked to see my GC and told me to bring it to oath ceremony. I was told that the status will update overnight. Now I am wondering if the person who was supposed to approve me decided to go on a last-minute vacation or something.

Hi folks,

Anyone from Austin/San Antonio area having their oath ceremony on Feb 28 2020 or at the US Court House(5th Street) in Austin. Mine is scheduled at US Court House in Austin. I do not have a name change so I am guessing its an administrative ceremony. I am a bit confused why they placed me for oath at the US Courthouse as I checked at the judges calendar and there is no ceremony under any judge on the 28th of Feb most probably since mine is not a judicial one. Can there be an administrative oath ceremony in the court house?

Please let me know guys,thanks

I filed September 15 and have not received interview notice yet. But I guess they are already sending interview notices for people who applied early september.

Hi!, I just have a question, do you think you can notify me whenever you received a notification of interview appointment, just to have an idea how long it may take for mine to be scheduled.
