Getting worried not received SSN/Greencard(merged)

 CR1 visa. Over 1 month since POE and still no sign of SSN & no sign of Greencard. Getting worried. How long more should I wait? Anybody else waiting?

For GC you can do nothing other than wait. Did you already pay the GC fee?

 

For SSN, simply walk over to the nearest SS office and apply in person. Bring your passport.

Yes before POE paid green card fee

Yes GC fee was paid before leaving for US.

If it gets over 120 days for your GC then you can submit an enquire using the USCIS case check webpage

The stamp in your passport acts as a greencard until you get the physical card, in case you need it for any purpose.

Just happened to me too. The border officer didn’t do something correctly so we didn’t get the SSN. We went to the local SSN office and our SSN was issued within 3 business days.  5 days after that our GC came.  This all just happened last week and our date of entry was 6/15. It took over a month. Don’t worry.

CR1 too here, POE 06/13. after 1 month I went to the local SSN and applied directly (despite having checked the box in the DS-260), applied on Monday and received the SSN via mail on Saturday. Still waiting on GC though. It's only been 48 days so I'm still hoping it'll arrive eventually.

Hah. I received my GC in the mail shortly after posting this. 51 days from date of POE.

Can you provide an update on this? How long did it take to receive your SSN and GC? Thanks!
