I was asked to come with Selective Service Documents even though it  is  clearly currently showing in my documents tab cos I frontloaded a lot of documents

 

 

I want to say that it’s all generic, but I would bring all of the docs with you too, just to be sure. My letter had these requirements listed:

You MUST BRING the following with you to the interview:
• This letter.
• Your Alien Registration Card ("green card").
• Any evidence of Selective Service Registration.
• Your passport and/or any other documents you used in connection with any entries into the United States.
• Those items noted below which are applicable to you:
If applying for NATURALIZATION AS THE SPOUSE of a United States citizen

I had my interview this morning, It took around 20 mins.  I was called back into a small room and asked to raise my right hand and agree tell the truth✋.  Then I was asked for my green card, passport and driver's licence.  Next I was asked 6 civics questions then read/write. We reviewed my application and asked for my select service document.  I was recommended for approval.

Going by this, it will be 10months till I get called for interview. I filed Jul 25 and did my bio Jul 30th.

We are in the same city and I filed on July 23rd.  My estimated completion is May 2020, it was originally April 2020.

Congratulations!! I had my interview same day at the same service center just a few hours later.  Again congrats!

I know it's tough, but don't get too wrapped around the axle with the estimated completion and wait times.

 

My wife had her interview on October 3rd, at least one month before she was supposed to hear anything.

 

She is now scheduled for the oath ceremony on November 18th (it took longer because she is processing a name change). That means she will be done with everything and become a US citizen on Nov 18th. However, her "estimated wait time" still says 2 months and "estimated completion time 3 months", a lot sooner than what is posted.

I agree although my case is not “complete” I have had my interview and I’m approved. My completion date is January 2020.  My oath ceremony hasn’t been scheduled but as far as I’m concerned I’m as good as done.

Yes, don't put too much stock in the estimated time.  Just had the interview and was told the oath would be next month (November), but our estimated wait time is January 2020.

Totally agree. I see  interview as the bun, oath as the hamburger meat and biometrics as the lettuce, tomato and cheese lol

Please let me know if you get your oath scheduled. My friend had her interview last september 23 but til now no schedule.
