Didn't check online for an update all week until tonight.  To my surprise it was updated on Wednesday with a notice that the interview has been scheduled.  The document says it's for October 21st, so good to see progress!

Our estimated completion date is Sept 2020 :(

I filed online about 10 days before you - my local office is Las Vegas. Estimated completion was Sept 2020 when I first filed, but it changed to Aug 2020 after my biometrics appointment. I still have an I-751 pending so it will be interesting to see if our timelines remain the same.

08.02.2018 18 month Green Card extension letter

07.16.2019 Biometrics complete

09.04.2019 Case transferred to Lee's Summit, MO (NBC)

03.22.2021 New card in production

03.23.2021 I-751 approval notice (without interview)

03.27.2021 10-year green card received

07.31.2019 Biometrics complete

12.18.2020 Contacted State Senator (I-751 pending for more than 2 years)

I had my interview yesterday and was approved! It was really quick and easy, I was in and out of the room in about 10-15 minutes. I will write a review below for those who are interested. I checked online yesterday evening and my status changed to “we approved your application” but my estimated completion time has gone from October to December, so I guess it might be a while before I get to do my oath ceremony!

My interviewer started by asking me to swear an oath to tell the truth, then to confirm my name, DOB, social, etc. Then we did the reading test (I just had to read a short sentence from an iPad), then the writing test (I had to write “citizens can vote” on the iPad with a stylus). Then we did the civics test. I got the first 6 questions right so he didn’t ask me any more. Then he asked me all the questions I had already answered on my application (had you ever been a member of the communist party, etc, etc). Then he had me sign the iPad a couple of times to verify that what I said was correct, and we were done! My interviewer was very friendly and not at all intimidating. He told me he was recommending me for approval and I will get a letter in the mail with the date of my oath ceremony!

N-400:

Applied online - 7/4/19

Receipt notice - 7/4/19

Biometrics - 7/25/19

Interview - 9/13/19

Oath Ceremony - 10/11/19

Vegas estimated times are long, I am seeing some  July filers get their interviews scheduled now :(  Mine still shows Sept 2020.

My i-751 took for ever also I applied back in June  2016 and it got approved in Sept 2017. By the time I had it I could of already applied for my citizenship. Hence I decided to wait another few years .. Hopefully yours will move a bit quicker.

My interview was scheduled for the end of Oct.  Exciting but nerve-racking.  My estimated completion date is still December.
