Again standard verbiage it always goes to NVC first NVC sends to embassy.

Here is the path for your application USCIS --------> NVC ------> USEM. You're getting a standard letter for someone who is of immigrant status which you are for a time being then when your visa is issue, your case changes to non-immigrant with immigrant intent. They treat the K-1 as a different species. Everything is moving along for you nicely.

Is there a preferred way to update address with NVC? NOA2 is dated 02Jul19, and I am moving (military) at the end of the month.

Petitioner updates address with USCIS and not NVC. Your file is only with NVC for just a short period of time. Beneficiary updates with DS-160 and at the interview to facilitate the delivery of the visa once it's issued.

Here is the online form:

It's what USCIS says to do (see "Have pending applications or petitions..." row):

Well now you know so you can help others.

The K-1 process is quite strange. For a time, it is both a non-immigrant and immigrant visa type. That is why the links (what you received in the email) will send you the process for immigrant which would be the I-864 and DS-260 even though it truly is a non-immigrant visa requiring I-134 and the DS-160. As you go through the stages, within the NVC system you look up your file under immigrant (ceac.state.gov/). It stays that way until after your interview and the approval and your visa is ready for issue. At that point, it changes over to non-immigrant. It truly is a non-immigrant visa with immigrant intent.

So means i should need the I 864 and ds260 not the I134 and Ds160?

No it means just the opposite. You have "immigrant" status but you are really a "non-immigrant" and so you prepare the I-134 and the DS-160. The immigrant status is just temporary until such time that you visa is issued and then it reverts to non-immigrant status. In your mind, you must think of this as a non-immigrant with immigrant intentions. It's just different then all the visas out their.

Good luck guys who had NOA 2 on hand .. im waiting for my nvc latter its been 3 weeks .. i called nvc they told me still they didn't receive yet ..😔

If you had download the PDF and read it, it would specifically tell you that it takes 30 days to NVC, another 1-3 weeks for NVC to assign a case number and then another 1-2 week to your Embassy. Your mileage may vary.

So you received your NOA2 on July 1 and it hasn't been 30 days so what does that tell you? You're early. Wait a few more weeks before burning up the phone lines. JMHO.

My fiance and I are still waiting for our Interview Date but we are confident we will get it soon! It's been about a week since we got our Packet 3 and filled out the DS-160 and paid the fee. We e-mail them with all the info they requested by we still haven't heard anything yet. Does it normally take quite so long or does it depend on the consulate?

Nevermind, I realized there is a subforum for this and I posted there!
