Well I'm just happy that the damn thing is finally moving and that I can at least track it now having the NVC case number.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Hey guys anyone check their NVC case status today. Mine still says at NVC🤷🏻‍♀️

This is for others who are looking for their case status to ship. NVC ships every other Tuesday and WEDNESDAY. So if you look and it doesn't indicate it has shipped then you may possibly be to early. Just saying.

Mine too! I received the email confirmation as well. Are we supposed to get a separate email or mail for the interview date and further instructions?

Review these materials and begin gather required documents. Best place to follow is Hank's website for step by step instructions. Link is below.

Additional information can be found here:

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

Manila US Embassy states that a scanned copy of the signed I-134 is fine, if you don't have the original.

NOA2 is good for ONE year. You have time.

Hello, please I know here’s not the right place to ask such questions but I need clarification. I checked the ceac website just yesterday and my case updated has changed from 20th August to October 16th. Please what does that mean?

NOA2 is good for a year. Contact your embassy for an extension. Many will extend 4 months at a time up to a year.

Whoohoo...I got my NOA2 today on 5 July 2019.  I did not get any email or text message about my NOA2...it simple showed up in my snail mailbox.

Yeah that's how mine showed up. I had the USPS mail preview and the day I was leaving to go see my fiance in Poland I saw I was going to receive it. Luckily I had enough time before flying to receive it. Was a great way to start a trip.

Just an update for you guys, my fiance had her interview on the 17th(in Manila) and she got approved, she said they only asked about 7 questions (some about herself and some about me) none about her daughter (which I find kinda weird)the only paperwork they collected was the Affidavit of Support and the pictures of us together when I visited ,she was also saying something about a CFO seminar, does anyone know if it's absolutely necessary to attend?

Congrats! Yes CFO is required for her to exit the Philippines. There’s lots of info about it. Check out the Philippines forum

Just a quick question, I see some people on here talking about paying for the DS160, however I did mine and didn't have to pay for the DS160 but I do have to pay the visa fee ($265) when booking the appointment .. Does the procedure depend on which embassy you're going to?
