There is no fee for the DS-160. Many here are under the belief that the DS-160 requires the $265 payment (interview fee). They are separate steps, DS-160 is FREE to submit but is required both for the scheduling of the interview and to allow you to make your payment, plus DS-160 is for the interview.

Yes it is a requirement of the Philippine Government and you will not be allowed to board your plane without a completed certificate attached to your visa.

Hello, 

No please, it just said Case last updated 16th October. When I check my visa status before on the ceac website, it says “ready” and the case last updated 23th August. But just checked about two day ago, it changed to case last updated 16th October and “ready”.  Why is that?

Is it okay to hand deliver the P3 packet at the embassy instead of using DHL?  My fiancé lives very close to the embassy

The instructions in the P3 state that you are to "mail" the P3 to the embassy. Most embassy's will not allow you to walk in. You don't have to use DHL. Doesn't your country have a mailing service that you can trust.

It mean your case is "ready" for interview at your embassy. Follow the instructions in these links.

Average wait time from when embassy receives the application is 6-8 weeks.  Average time to be sent to Ghanaian embassy from NVC is 1 month.  Therefore applicants should expect 3 months from NVC till receiving the P3.  Interview slots are very limited for this embassy, so it is advised for applicants that believe that they are a "strong applicant" to proactively schedule their interview date three months out to secure a date and time.

 

These are all my learnings thus far through the painstaking  process......

I had saw the word courier but i will use dhl since i am comfortable with them.  I wanted to save a day but i will mail express and be patient.

You'd have to ask some who has received theirs from Albania. Every embassy is different. But to help you along the way I have a copy I'll share with you.

I received an email reply from my question at the embassy today.  They directed me to the P3 link on the website. I followed it and mail everything today.  Same form as yours.

@Greenbaum my fiancé has a son I never take any pictures with his son since every time I visit him we stay in a different city. What can you suggest us to do. Please he’s in Haiti
